Good day!

I am writing this letter because Mr. Uzziel Garcia asked me to provide a character reference on
his behalf for his application on the scholarship for Online Choral Leadership Program offered
by the same foundation that I participated seven years ago (Plan W Sing Philippines Choral
Leadership Program). I have known him for four years for we are colleagues stationed in the
same school - Luis Hervias National High School, so I feel qualified to speak on his behalf in
terms of character.

Currently, he is a faithful member of Bacolod City Division Teachers Choral (BCDTC) for about
three years. As a president of this choral, I could say that he is really passionate to music and is
very loyal when it comes to schedule of rehearsals and is very eager to learn. I can testify that
this program will be the best training ground for him to improve his skills in singing, conducting
and managing standard-based choral group.

I felt so honored to be asked to provide this character reference and hope that the information

Online Choral Leadership Program

Good day!

I am Ms. Annie Marie D. Seva, Master Teacher I of the MAPEH department of Luis Hervias
National High School. As a Master Teacher in the department, I am honored to make a letter to
provide a character reference for Mr. Uzziel Garcia for his application on the Online Choral
Leadership Program offered by the NCCA and Andrea O. Veneracion Foundation, Inc. We have
been together in DepEd for about four years. Therefore, I could say that I am qualified to have a
word in terms of his character.

Throughout the time that I have known Mr. Garcia, I have formed a very positive opinion of
him. Mr. Garcia has always been loyal and very passionate when it comes to music. In fact, he
established a music club (Psalms 150 Club) here in our school which offers free tutorial of
various musical instrument for students who cannot afford to undergo music lesson outside the
school. Mr. Garcia is one of the singing teachers here in our school. In fact, he is one of the
singers who sang and played the accompaniment of our Alma Mater. He is also a member of
Bacolod City Division Teachers Chorale. Additionally, Mr. Garcia is the conductor of their church
choir.

I know for sure that whatever learnings he will gain from the program, will be applied to our
students especially in singing which will produce and develop devoted young choral singers.
