Information Technology, Telecom, Network & Homeland Security, CBRN and e-Governance. ECIL
pioneered a number of products and technologies include Solid State Television, Digital Computer,
Cockpit Voice Recorders, Electronic Voting Machines, Programmable Logic Controllers, Earth Station
and Deep Space Network Antennas. It has close collaboration with national R&D laboratories as well
as Academic Institutes and has been involved in the projects of national importance.
Electronics Corporation of India Limited is looking for dynamic, experienced and result oriented
personnel for ‘Technical Officer on Contract’ positions purely on fixed tenure contract basis, for a
period of One Year (extendable depending on project requirements & satisfactory performance of
the candidate) to work for Business Verticals across the country.

Technical Officer (UR-80, EWS-20, CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/Mech./Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation
on Contract OBC-52, SC-33, Engineering with at least One year post-qualification experience in
ST-15)
Election & field operations, Repair & maintenance of Electronic
equipment, industrial production.

I. EMOLUMENTS:
The incumbent is eligible to a consolidated amount of ₹ 25,000/month for 1st year, ₹ 28,000/month for
2nd year, ₹ 31,000/month for 3rd & 4th year. The selected candidate is also eligible to other benefits such
as Reimbursement of premium paid towards Mediclaim, Company PF, TA/DA (while on official duty) &
Paid Leave as per extant rules.

II. RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS:


Reservations & Relaxations for OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Ex. SM will be as per Presidential directives.
With respect to qualification, 1st class is relaxed to 2nd class with 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST
candidates.

Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST; 10 more years relaxation for PwD category. The
upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of
Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.

III. HOW TO ATTEND:


Eligible candidates may download the Application Form from our website (www.ecil.co.in) and should
report at 09.00 hrs. on 11/01/2023 with duly filled in application form & resume along with the
following original certificates & a set of self-attested photocopies:

a. SSC certificate or School leaving certificate as Date of birth proof;
b. Identity proof (Govt. issued only; Aadhar, Passport etc.) & recent p/p size color photograph;
c. Documents in support of Qualification (SSC, Intermediate, B.Tech./B.E. Certificate & Marks sheet);
d. CGPA conversion certificate from institution/university, if any;
e. Experience certificates from previous employment (Appointment Order & recent pay slips, if
working) clearly mentioning the duration (from & to dates) and nature of work/assignment;
f. Category certificate (OBC/SC/ST), if applying against such reserved posts; In case of OBC, certificate
should be taken on or later 01/12/2021 with mandate mention of ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause.
g. A valid certificate with respect to Persons with Disabilities (PwD); Discharge certificate in case of Ex-
servicemen; Relevant certificate, if claiming age relaxation as candidate from J&K; if any.

h. Registration closure time is 11.30 hrs. on the date of Walk-In interview i.e. 11/01/2023.

IV. SELECTION METHOD:


a. Candidates will be allowed only after registration and followed by successful document verification.
Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated based on Personal Interview and final recommendations
shall be made as per the following criteria.

b. Experience from Academic Institutions / Colleges shall not be considered and the same will be
excluded for the purpose of calculation of Post-Qualification experience.
c. In view of the requirement, the selected candidate shall be required to join ECIL immediately after
declaration of the results. As such candidates are advised to come prepared to resume the assigned
activity/work immediately in case they are shortlisted.
d. Offer letters will be issued in phased manner based on the requirement only.

V GENERAL CONDITIONS:
a. Upper age limit is 30 yrs. & all the eligibility criteria is as on 31/12/2022.
b. Before appearing for the interview, candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully
and ensure that he / she has fulfilled the eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement
in all respects.
c. The Degree of Disability for PwD Candidates is 40% & above.
d. Candidates should ready to work anywhere in India as per the need / organization requirements.

e. Candidates who studied full time / regular courses are only eligible. Correspondence / distance
mode / e-learning / part time courses shall not be considered.
f. It is mandatory for the candidates who are already working with any of the units of Electronics
Corporation of India Limited to obtain a letter from the respective Reporting Officer seeking
permission to attend the selection process and need to submit the letter at the time of document
verification.
g. Company reserves the right to alter the no. of posts or cancel the whole process of recruitment
without assigning any reason.
h. Decision of ECIL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such
scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualifications and other eligibility norms will be final and
binding on the candidate.
i. All qualifications should be from a recognized Indian University / Institution recognized by
appropriate Statutory Authority.
j. The application is liable for rejection at any stage of recruitment process in case of suppression of
facts/furnishing of false information.
k. Any Legal proceeding in respect of any matter / claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement
and / or any application in response thereto can be instituted only limited to Courts at GHMC
(Kapra Circle) alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
l. Canvassing in any form will result in immediate rejection of application.
m. No electronic gadgets/devices are allowed throughout the Selection Process.
n. Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
o. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
p. In view of the current pandemic, candidates are requested to follow necessary personal /
respiratory hygiene / Cough Etiquette and strictly adhere to prescribed COVID-19 protocol (issued
by the Government). Always wear mask, frequently sanitize hands and maintain physical distance.
