User Guide

NOTE:
1. The printer shall be installed in a flat and stable place.
2. The printer should be far away from water source and avoid direct sunlight, strong light
and heat source
3. Do not use and save the printer in places with high temperature, high humidity and
serious pollution.
4. If you do not use the printer for a long time, please disconnect the power of the printer
power adapter.
5. In order to ensure the quality of printing and product life, it is recommended to use
better quality paper.

Label Guides

Black Platen
Setup
1. Place the printer on a flat, secure surface.
2. Make sure the power switch is off.
3. Connect the printer to the computer with the USB cable & Power Cable.

***‘Arrow face’ Face Up***

4. Insert label spindle into a paper roll (***Printing side/Sticker side face up)

5. Open the printer’s top cover by releasing the green top cover open levers located on
both sides of the printer and lifting the top cover.

6. Feed the paper, printing side face up, through the label guides and place the label paper
over the Black Platen.

7. Adjust the label guides in or out so they are slightly touch the edges of the label backing.

8. Close the printer top cover slowly, and make sure the cover locks well.

LED Indicator:
1. Blue = Ready to print
2. Red = Not yet lock well top cover
3. Red Blinking = Label paper no detect
(Maybe paper put wrongly)

Installation
▪ Window PC
1. Open the ‘Xprinter Driver’ and install to window pc.

2. Tick “I accept the terms in the license agreement”, and then click ‘Next’.

3. Click ‘Next’.
4. Choose “Run Driver Wizard after unpacking drivers”, not necessary to choose “read
installation instructions……”

6. Click “Yes” to allow installation.

7. Click “Install Printer Drivers” and then click “Next”.

8. Your printer device will be auto detected and the model name will appear, then just click
“Next”.

9. Tick “Use this printer as the default printer” if u want it becomes default. Then, click
“Next”.

10. Click “Finish”.

11. Waiting for installation.

12. The printer driver has been successfully installed.

1. Click “Start” and then click “Setting”.

2. Next, click “Devices” and then click “Printers & Scanners”.
3. Then, find your printer and click “Manage”.

4. Click “Printing Preferences” to adjust printing

5. Click “New” to create your label size. Key in name, size and then click “OK”.
[Air Waybill commonly is A6 size: Width = 100mm & Height = 150mm]

6. Then click “Graphics” and choose “None”. Next, click “Color Adjustment” and adjust
“Brightness”, “Red”, “Green”, and “Blue” to <-20>.

7. Click “Options” and untick “Use Current Printer Settings”. So, you may adjust
“Print Speed” and “Darkness”. [Recommended Darkness = 8 to 10]

8. Finally, click “OK” to finish the setting.

Printing
1. Open your waybill PDF to start printing.

1. Destination = Choose your printer

2. Paper Size = Choose the size u want to print
3. Scale = Better choose “Fit to printable area”

2. Click ‘Continue’ to install driver.

3. Click ‘Install’ to continue.

4. Insert your Mac ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ to continue install software.

5. Wait for installation until ‘The installation was successful’ pop out.
6. Then click ‘OK’ to allow installer to access files in your downloads folder.
[You may ‘Keep’ the Xprinter installer in your Mac in case need to reinstall in future]

7. After that, open ‘System Preferences’ and go to ‘Printers & Scanners’. Then click the
button “ + ” to add your printer.

8. Now, choose your printer ‘XP-420B/Xp-480B’ and add the printer to your Mac.

9. Choose ‘mm’ as measurement units and then click ‘OK’.

Printer Setting (Mac)
1. First, open browser (Google Chrome ) and go to the CUPS link (127.0.0.1:631).

2. After CUPS interface appear, click ‘Printers’ to adjust the settings.

3. Next, click your printer model (‘XPrinter_XP_420B/480B’) shows on the list.

4. Then, click ‘Administration’ and select ‘Set Default Option’.
5. Click ‘General’ and change paper size to ‘Custom’.

Choose “Custom”

6. Then adjust [Width = 100, Height = 150, Units = Millimeters].

Adjust:
Width = 100 & Height = 150

7. Next, go to ‘Media Settings’ and adjust setting [Method = Direct Thermal],
[Type = Label with Gaps], [GapsHeight = 0.118 in]’.

8. Finally, go to ‘Printer Options’ and adjust [Print Speed = 5 in/sec or 6 in/sec],

[Darkness = 8 ~ 10](Recommended darkness).

Darkness = 8 - 10
9. After adjust all setting, c lick ‘Set Default Options’ to apply the setting.

10. Finally, all default options have been set successfully and can start to print.
Printing
1. Open your waybill PDF to start printing.

1. Destination = Choose your printer

2. Paper Size = Choose the size “Custom”
3. Scale = Better choose “Fit to printable area”

Google Chrome
▪ Android OTG

1. Firstly, install “NokoPrint-Wireless and USB printing” from PlayStore.

2. Then, connect OTG Cable to your Android.

3. A notification will pop out after plug in OTG cable to your Android phone.
Then click “OK” to open NokoPrint App.

4. Next, choose your printer model from the list.

***If your phone cannot detect printer, kindly open OTG function manually in
your phone setting.

Turn ‘On’ OTG

***For model Xp-480B, select “USE GENERIC” to proceed installing printer.

5. Then go to “Documents” and select your Waybill PDF or you may search the PDF name.

OR
6. After select Waybill PDF, a “Action Required” notification will pop out. Just click
“Continue” and wait until installation successful.

Wait Loading until 100%

6. After installation finish, you may try to print Waybill PDF now.
[Make sure Paper Size = 4x6in]
▪ Bluetooth – Android
1. Firstly, install “Print Label” from the google link below.

2. Allow all permission when install the app.

3. Open the Print Label app, then click the top left corner menu,
then select print “Print PDF”.

4. Next, select your Waybill PDF. You may click “Search” to find your waybill.
5. Make sure the size is [width = 100mm & Height = 150mm], and then click “Print”.
Then, click “Not Connected” to connect your printer.
6. Then choose your printer model and enter the pin to connect it.

XP-420B

XP-420B ❖ Open GPS location if u cannot

***Printer Bluetooth Pin:
1. KM-218 = “1234”
2. KM-202 = “0000”
3. XP-420B & XP-480B = “0000”
4. Gp-1324D & Gp-1424D = “0000”

7. Then, enter printer Bluetooth “Pin” to connect. After connect successful, click “Print”
again.
8. Lastly, just click “OK” to print Waybill PDF now.
[Kindly wait for 10-15 seconds as Bluetooth printing is slow]
▪ How to Download A6 Size Waybill PDF to phone?

▪ Shopee

1. First open your shopee, and go to “My Shop”

2. Click “Seller Assistant” and go into

“Seller Center”.
3. Next, click “Go to Seller Centre” and LOGIN your Shopee ID.

4. Then, click “Shipping Setting” and open “Thermal Printing” function.

5. Click “Mass Ship” to download your shipment Waybill PDF.

6. After all orders arrange shipment, then you may download any of your Waybill or all
Waybill in one PDF file.
 7. Finally, click “Print AWBs” to
download waybill PDF.

8. Waybill has been download successfully

and can start to print out.
▪ Easy parcel
1. Login your EasyParcel Account, then click “Account” and select “AWB Format”
2. Select the courier service and change the AWB format to “Sticker (4 inch x 6 inch)”
3. Finally you can download Waybill and print from the printing app.

▪ Send Parcel
1. Firstly, LOGIN your SendParcel account. Click the “Menu” and go into “Setting”. Then,
select “Thermal Setting”
2. Next, change the Consignment Note Type to “Thermal” and click save.

3. Click printer icon to download the consignment note.

▪ Bartender Label Barcode Software

1. Open the “Bartender Software” installer and start install.

2. Click “Yes” to proceed installation.

3. Choose the “Language” you prefer and click “OK” to continue.

4. After【BarTender 2016】pop out, click “Next” to continue. Then, tick the “I accept the
terms in license agreement” and click “Next” again.

5. You may tick all the features and click “Next”. Last step, click “Install” to start the
installation.
6. Choose “Run the UltraLite edition only” to use the free version BarTender Software.

7. Select “Start a new BarTender document…” to start your own design.

8. Select your Xprinter model and click next.
9. Choose your label shape and choose
the correct size for your label paper.

10. Select “User Defined Size” to create

your own custom size.

Then, click “Finish” to start design

your own label.
