Indicators of Success: (developed as goal is written)

a) What will successful completion of my goal look like for my Professional Practice?
For Student Learning?

Successful completion of my goal will look like a few things. First, an organized assessment
setting prior to starting a unit is essential. I did not have this in my previous unit as I developed it
near the end.
Second, a successful completion of my goal will be when my students are able to grow and
understand their growth. This happens when the students and I are able examine their work from
the effective learning objectives, clear success criteria and self evaluation they are provided with.
Student growth mindset is crucial for skill building and improving self-esteem.
Being able to comfortably develop comprehensive unit plans will be the forefront of this success.
Spending time to discover the competencies required and developing successful assessment
strategies in those unit plans is essential.

Reflection on Indicator of Success (end of Year)

a) How successful have I been in meeting my goal?

b) How has my professional practice improved?

c) How has student learning improved?
