and experiences: and differences among learners’ linguistic, cultural,
socio-economic, religious backgrounds and difficult circumstances

ANALYZE

1. Identify the persons who play key roles in the relationships and
interactions in the classrooms. What roles do they play? Is there
somebody who appears to be the leader. A mascot/joker, an attention
seeker, a little teacher, a doubter/pessimist?
In classroom activity, the teacher and the students both have significant
responsibilities to play. While the students are the learners, the instructor
plays the role of a facilitator. Some pupils are attention-seekers who try to
get the attention of their teacher and their other classmates. Some
students take the role of teacher and leader inside the class, passing on
their learning to their more inexperienced classmates.

What makes the learners assume these roles? What factors affect their
behavior?

The learner’s expectation is meet by the teacher’s way of teaching to them

they appreciated each day of lesson when they are in classroom by
sharing their knowledge and thoughts by interacting to their teacher and
one of the great factors about this kind of behavior in their engagement
and connections to the teacher.

2. Is there anyone you observed who appear left out? Are students who
appear “different” Why do they appear different? Are they accepted or
rejected by the others? How is this shown?

In certain cases, kids who transfer from a private school to a public school
feel embarrassed to engage in classroom and avoid interacting with their
classmates. In reality, according to Ma'am Imelda, he is welcomed into the
group; nevertheless, despite his classmates' efforts to amuse him, he is
the only one who declines to take part.

What does the teacher do to address issues like this?

My resource teacher designed an activity that required everyone to

engage in, she taught all of her pupils how to connect well with their peers,
and she treated every one of her students as if they were her own children
in order to avoid this kind of issue. And throughout each exchange, she
consistently gives her students the impression that they belong to a big
family in the classroom.
3. How does the teacher influence the class interaction considering the
individual differences of the students?

The teacher can affect class interaction while taking into account the
diverse personality traits of the students by modeling fair principles inside
the classroom. The instructor does not discourage her students when she
provides a subpar answer to a question.

4. What strategies does the teacher use to maximize the benefits of diversity
in the classroom? How does the teacher leverage diversity?

Create a pleasant learning environment in the classroom so students can

feel a feeling of community, respect for one another, and understanding of
others' viewpoints. Every student is treated fairly.

REFLECT

1. How did you feel being in that classroom? Did you feel a sense of
oneness or unity among the learners and between the teachers?

While I was watching them in lesson, I felt at home because I was

welcomed and treated as if I were their advisor. They treat me as if I were
their own adviser, therefore I didn't have a sense of oneness with them. I
enjoy teaching this class because everyone is so engaged and
enthusiastic you won't get bored.
Learning Episode 3 Activity 3.2

and talents

ANALYZE

1. Did your observation match the information given by the teacher?

Of sure, I say. The teacher's knowledge and the observation were in

agreement. I observed how she lagged behind while the rest of the class
was focused on the topic at hand.

2. Describe the differences in ability levels of the students in the class? What
practices or strategies are done or should be done to differentiate
instruction to meet the needs of the learners.

Considering it is at the lower part, there is a small space between each

student. This is the way the interactions between the students and the
teacher go. Most students who seemed to be from middle-class families
did the best.

3. Describe the methods used by the teacher in handling the students’

differences in abilities. How did the students respond to the teacher? Did the
teacher use differentiated instruction? If yes, describe how.

The teacher constantly works to avoid upsetting the ego of the student by
being aware of what she says. She always uses a friendly tone rather than a
stern one when speaking to the students. She included the challenges that
students face throughout their psychological and financial struggles.

REFLECT

1. Recall the time when you were in elementary or high school. Recall the
high and low achievers in your class. How did your teacher deal with
differences in abilities? Was your teacher effective?

My elementary school teacher used to treat us nicely when we were in first

grade. She is really pleasant and effective because she helped us with
problems that could have been challenging for all of us. For instance, she
might gladly repeat whatever she said until we all understood it if a
significant portion of us didn't. She continues to provide instances for us to
better understand the topic. She is a dedicated teacher who won't give up
until every student in the class has a firm understanding of the material.
2. What dispositions and traits will you need as a future teacher to meet the
needs of the learners?

Student achievement interactions are essential to their success, so I feel

that one of the dispositions and qualities that I will need as a future
educator is a commitment to my students and their learning. This is
because I believe that one of the traits and dispositions that I will need as
a future educator is a commitment to my students and their learning.
Encouraged students are more likely to participate in class and perform
better academically. Additionally, children who get along well with
teachers are less likely to develop behavioral problems.
