Instructions:
1. Start reading an article about productivity applications.

2. Once done reading, answer the following guide questions:

❖ What are productivity applications?


-productivity applications is tools that allow for the viewing, creating and modifying of
general office documents (e.g. spreadsheets, memos, presentations, letters, personal
database, form generation, image editing, etc.). Office productivity tools also include
applications for managing employee tasks.

❖ What are the three most-used productivity applications by Microsoft and what are their
equivalents in Google Apps?
-microsoft word = google docs
-microsoft exel = google sheets
-microsoft powerpoint = google slides
❖ What does it mean when a document is in the cloud? What is Google Drive?
-When your document is on the cloud, it means it's stored on Internet servers instead of your
computer's hard drive.
-Google Drive is a free cloud-based storage service that enables users to store and access
files online.
