Classical Conditioning Examples 2

The document describes 18 examples of classical conditioning in humans and animals. Classical conditioning occurs when a previously neutral stimulus becomes associated with an emotional response after being repeatedly paired with another stimulus that naturally elicits that response. Some examples include a person becoming afraid of intersections after a car accident, a dog salivating at the sound of a can opener after being fed, and a person becoming anxious upon hearing gum chewing due to previous beatings associated with that sound.
