Amazon Business Models


1. Private Label (PL)
Purchase product from manufacturer and sell it by making its own product and put own tag/label.

2. Dropshipping
Purchase product at low cost from another marketplace like eBay, shopify, Walmart etc. and ship
it to client on the price at which amazon selling it.
It could be risky.
Not recommended.
Chances of bad reviews.
Chances of account suspension.

3. FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon)


You sell it, and amazon ship it.
Amazon ships, packs the product and charge the customer support fee.
Amazon takes the responsibility of product shipment.
Fba is safe business model.
Better than Fbm.
4. FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant)
Seller sells, packs and ships the product on its own.
It is responsibility of seller to ship product safely.
Not good as FBA.
Can get bad reviews.
Account suspension.
