Call to Order Jessel We'd like to acknowledge the presence of our honourable

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to begin; please be


seated and make yourselves comfortable. Thank you.
Invocation Philip Good Morning Everyone! To start with, we would like to ask
everyone to please rise for the ecumenical prayer and remain
standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem by
overture.
Opening Jessel The goal of journalism is to give the public the knowledge
they need to make the best decisions for their own lives,
social groups, societies, and governments.
Philip Today, Ladies and Gentlemen, is one of the most anticipated
days in our lives and the history of the SKSU-Isulan Campus,
The Technopipeline, as we gather for the annual campus
journalism seminar and workshop, strategic planning, and
dummy-making.
Jessel To our very active president, Dr. Samson L. Molao, to our
vice president for academic affairs, Jesusa D. Ortuoste,Phd,
to our PRI Director, Dr. Rebecca D. Subillaga, to our campus
director, Engr. Mary Lynn G. Magbanua, to our publication
adviser, resource speakers, visitors, teachers, and
technoliners….

A very good morning once again to everyone and welcome to


the annual campus journalism seminar and workshop,
strategic planning, and dummy-making.
Philip Our event for today will surely give us a lot to learn about
everything we need to learn about our chosen calling. So
please sit down, relax, and enjoy the rest of the morning.

It is my delight to be your emcee today for this informative


seminar and workshop. I am Philip Andrei L. Gumabong
and I'm also very happy to be accompanied by my charming
co-emcee, Miss Jessel Kaye I. Ladia. Good morning, Jessel.
Jessel Good morning, Philip.
And I'm very happy to be your co-emcee for today's event
with you as well. We hope you will find the program we have
lined-up for you to be fruitful and engaging.
Welcome Remarks Philip To kick-off this morning's program, we are pleased to have
with us our very own Editor in Chief, Ms. Rica Rose
Cuadernal, to deliver the opening remarks. Please give her a

that will help us to be equipped as we publish our magazine.

Introduction Jessel In preparation for our output, experts, highly and renowned
speakers herein Sultan Kudarat State University, and our
guest speaker, who is proficient in their craft, have gathered
here today to share with us their expertise and to hear some
of their advice as we venture out the new phase in our
journalistic journey. This is to ensure that all Technopipeline
journalists are fully imbibed with the necessary skills and
qualities that a journalist must possess.

Philip Journalist are known to have ethics and integrity, courage


and boldness, an expert in communication skills, knowledge
of technology and investigative skills. Lastly, they are
expected to be adept in writing, proofreading,
photojournalism, broadcasting and podcasting, photo-video
editing, lay-outing, socmed/webposting and dummy making
and other relevant skills necessary in the application in the
journalism field.
