WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORT
WEEK 1
DAY 1: I started my internship on 16 th of May 2019. I was asked to reach Tis Hazari for a
matter. The matter was at the evidence stage. We were to cross examine the plaintiff. I read
the examination in chief before entering the court. Later I went to office and read the files.
DAY 2: On the second day, I was again asked to reach Tis Hazari as the matter was deferred
due to the ongoing elections in the High Court Bar Association. Later I went to High Court for
Inspection of a file.
DAY 3: I went to Saket court for the matter of MAYANK BANSAL VS SWATI BANSAL which
was related to maintenance of wife. Later I was asked to reach High Court as there were few
matters. I went to office and was handed over few files to read for the upcoming matters.
Day 4: On the fourth day I went to Saket Court for matters. Later I went to High Court as
there was a cross examination in a matter. Also I attended a mediation in High Court
DAY 5: I went to office today and was given various citations which I had to read and
prepare a brief which was to be submitted on the next day.
DAY 6: I was asked to reach high Court for few matters which I was asked to observe. There
was a matter in which the cross examination was fixed in the High Court bar Association
Office. There was another matter MADHUKAR VS RAWAL APARTMENTS which was related
to specific performance of contract.
Today I went to Dwarka court for SHILPI THAPAR V MANAN THAPAR. The case was
regarding domestic violence, adultery, maintenance, and for custody of the only child. Later
I went to office where I was asked to compile the annexures and attach them in the file
accordingly.
WEEK 2
DAY 8: I was asked to reach Tis Hazari for a matter AATMA RAM V. NDMC. This case was on
the final argument stage. Later we went to Rohini court for a bail matter which was
dismissed. After leaving Rohini court we went to high court at 3pm for a matter BABLOO V.
STATE.
DAY 9: I went to Saket court for matter NUPUR AGGARWAL V. RISHI AGGARWAL. The case
was for maintenance of the plaintiff and her child. Later I went to office and read file for
arbitration which was scheduled at 5.30 in the evening.
DAY 10: I was asked to reach Saket court again where we had two matters in the same court
of justice Sheetal Chaudhary. Both the cases were for the custody of the child in the
upcoming vacations. Later I was asked to reach DAC for the same arbitration which I
attended on my 2nd day of internship.
DAY 11: today I went to Saket court for matter VIRENDER BHALLA V. KAJAL GANGWANI.
Later I went to Tis Hazari for another matter SHAKUNTALA V. SATWANT SINGH. Later I went
to office where I was asked to analyze the complaint as well as the suit and highlight the
important events as listed in the suit.
DAY 12: I went to High court. There were two fresh matters. Afterwards I was asked to
reach Saket court to observe the matters Of M.P. SINGH V. NINETRADERS as well as STATE
V. RAKESH KUMAR. Later I went to defence colony to attend arbitration.
DAY 13: I went to Saket court to attend three maters. Later I was asked to reach Dwarka
court where there was only one matter. After attending the matters, I went to the office to
continue the work related to highlighting the key points in the complaint and the suit.

WEEK 3
DAY 15: I went to High court to attend matter of ANIL DUA V. VIJAY SHARMA. I was asked to
check the files which were in objection and make the corrections accordingly. Later in ame
back to the office. At the office, I was asked to find citations for matter relating to custody of
a girl child with her father.
DAY 16: I was asked to reach rohini court for a matter NEHA SHARMA V. HARISH SHARMA.
Later I went to office where I was asked to draft a plaint with the help of an FIR and the
agreement between the parties.
DAY 17: I was asked to come to office directly to complete the plaint which I was preparing.
DAY 18: I went to Saket court for matter BHANU DILWARI V. URVASHI UPPAL. Afterward I
was asked to reach dwarka court for another matter ANKITA MEHTA V. ANKUR NIJHAWAN.
Later I went to office where I was asked to prepare summary of files which were handed
over to me.
DAY 19: I was asked to reach Tis Hazari for matter and later on I went to Saket court filing a
fresh matter.
DAY 20: I was asked to reach NATIONAL CONSUMER DISPUTE REDRESSAL COMMISION to
inspect two files and make the corrections then and there.
WEEK 4
DAY 22: Courts were closed so we were given another FIR and an Agreement to draft a suit
DAY 23: I went to Delhi Arbitration Centre for matter LIFELINE V. RAJKUMAR. It was from
11am to 5pm. Later I came to office and completed the suit which was given to me on the
previous day.
DAY 24: I was asked to read various provisions of negotiable instruments act as well as
domestic violence act.
DAY 25: I got feedback for the plaints which I drafted and made the necessary corrections.
DAY 26: i went to attend an arbitration in the matter MP AGRO V. GAIL INDIA.
