Ebp Project Self Evaluation-2
Ebp Project Self Evaluation-2
Please assess the work that you contributed to the EBP Project (poster and
presentation of findings). I will consider your evaluation in assignment an
individual grade for the assessment. Please be as honest as possible. (If
you rate yourself high, while there were evaluations from your group that
speak otherwise, I will consider that you did not evaluate yourself fairly and
will be assigning a grade to your individual grade for your EBP Project
accordingly, in addition to the separate grading that will commence from
your peers’ evaluation of your work.)
At the end of this worksheet, please discuss how you met the course
outcomes.
5 = Excellent work; was crucial component to group’s success
4 = Very strong work; contributed significantly to group
3 = Sufficient effort; contributed adequately to group
2 = Insufficient effort; met minimal standards of group
1 – Little or weak effort; was detrimental to group, or perhaps did very little
to contribute
Do you have any other comments about the overall EBP project (poster
and presentation of findings)?
It was a fun project and taught me a lot about research and exercise!
Student Self-Evaluation: Doing research for the project helped me to attain this
outcome. I had to learn how to properly search scientific journals and use Boolean
operators to narrow down my search. I then had to determine what kind of sources I was
finding and if they were relevant to the topic I was researching.
2. Make clinical decisions based on appraisal of the evidence, patient preferences, and
clinical expertise.
Student Self-Evaluation: By doing this research project specifically, I will be better able
to support any cancer patients I care for and help them maintain a healthy lifestyle. In
general, this class taught me how to find evidence-based articles and incorporate new
techniques into my clinical practice.
5. Identify practice discrepancies between identified standards and practice that may
adversely impact patient outcomes and utilize the process of retrieval, appraisal, and
Student Self-Evaluation: I feel I have a good understanding of the principle that research
does not prove anything, which is why it is important to continue research. Even though
standards of practice may seem like they are doing good, it is always better to continue
to improve and fix issues in healthcare treatment to provide better care to patients.
