IV. Procedure:

A. Introduction
Read aloud the pair of words.

B. Modeling
 Teacher will ask what they have noticed in the following pair of words.
 Define homonyms and give examples.

C. Guided Practice
 The teacher will let the pupils choose the pair of homonyms from what has been
discussed and use it in a meaningful sentence.

D. Group Practice
 The pupils will be divided into 3 groups. Each group will be given different task.
They are given 10 minutes to finish the activity. After that, all the groups will present
their answers. The teacher will also present rules to follow in a group work.
 Group 1
The pupils will match column A with the corresponding item in column B.
 Group 2
The pupils will choose the proper word to complete the sentence.
 Group 3
The pupils will use the homonyms in a sentence.

Teacher will facilitate each group and will make sure that each pupils cooperates in
the group activity.

E. Independent Practice
A. Pupils will answer test individually.
Direction: Circle the letter of the correct answer.

V. Post Assessment:
 If Independent Practice (IP) is satisfactory, then IP will serve as post-assessment for
the children
 If Independent Practice (IP) is low, the teacher will have to add enrichment activities
on the next day.
