Chisorb Suv

1. Chisorb SUV is a liquid ultraviolet light absorber that synergizes other UV absorbers for use in polymers like PU foams and TPU. 2. It exhibits full UV absorption, high relative absorptivity, good solvent solubility, resin compatibility, and low volatility. 3. Chisorb SUV is recommended at 1-4% for PU foams and 0.3-1.0% for TPU to provide effective UV protection.

UV ABSORBER

CHISORB SUV
Liquid ultraviolet light absorber for polymers

General ChisorbSUV is a powerful liquid synergist of ultraviolet light absorbers.

Characterized by its full range of UV absorption and higher relative absorptivity than
those of other absorbers, ChisorbSUV exhibits more effectively in the performance
of polymer protection. Due to better solvent solubility, good resin compatibility and
low volatility, ChisorbSUV is especially designed as an excellent weather fastness
aid for various polymers, particularly suitable for using in PU foams, TPU, etc.

Application ChisorbSUV imparts extremely effective in the protection of PU systems due to its
special synergistic composition, better polyol, resin compatibility and non-yellowing
property during processing and application stages. Furthermore, ChisorbSUV also
acts as an excellent UV absorber for the wide use range listed as below:
1. For PU foams, castings, leathers and films, the recommended dosage is around
1-4% based on polyol.
2. For Spandex, the typical use level is approximately between 0.5% and 1.0%
3. As for PU, Alkyd coatings and Phenolic varnishes, the proper loading
concentration is about 1.0 to 2.0% based on polymer.
4. TPU stabilization is achieved at about 0.3 to 1.0% loading.
5. The appropriate usage amounts of this product in PU adhesive application is
recommended around 0.3-0.5%
For the coating systems, when used in combination ChisorbSUV with Chisorb292,
the synergistic effect will be obtained.
