Dear Sir/Madam,
We are pleased to invite you to a multidisciplinary “International Conference on
Policies, Research, and Strategies” on March 15-16, 2023. The conference is primarily
being organized to invite international and national ' experts, social scientists, researchers,
and policy makers at the platform of COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore campus to
share their views and research, to plan strategies and policies for promotion of peace. This
conference is designed to promote peace building by encouraging multi-disciplinary
research, education and training from social sciences disciplines including psychology,
sociology, political science, international relations, history, religious studies, language,
literature, applied linguistics, law, media and communication etc. This would address
issues on peace and tolerance and violent and non-violent conflicts resolution; and the
experts will brainstorm ideas about how to promote peace in society and prevent violence
and destructive conflicts.
It would indeed be an honor for us to engage researchers from your department in
this multidisciplinary conference. Kindly disseminate this information among your
colleagues, fellow researchers and scholars. You are requested to send your abstracts not
later than 6th January, 2023. The abstracts of empirical research (quantitative and
qualitative) and conceptual papers related to themes given below.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission-Oral and Poster Presenters


Please follow APA 7th edition format of writing, for abstracts, power point and poster
presentations, and full length articles.
1- Abstract Submission Guidelines

• Abstract must contain paper title, all authors’ names, email contact,
designation and affiliation.
• Length of abstract should be between 200 to 250 words
• Length of the conceptual and qualitative research abstract may extend to
300.
• All abstracts must contain objectives/hypotheses, methodology, results and
conclusion. Empirical research papers must include information on
participants, selection strategy, research tools.
• Abstract must contain 3-6 key words.
• Email your abstract at [email protected] till 6th January, 2023.
2- Guidelines for Oral Paper Presentation (PowerPoint)
• Keep your slides comprehensive and elaborative
• Presentation must contain brief introduction, rationale, objectives,
hypotheses, method, results, and implications.
• Format of the conceptual and qualitative papers may be flexible.
• Try to complete presentation within 10 minutes including question answer
session.
3- Guidelines for Poster Presentation

• The poster must be 30 (width) x 40 (length) inches.


• Top of the poster must contain title, authors’ names, email contact and
affiliations.
• The main body of the poster must include abstract, introduction, objectives/
hypotheses/ research questions, methodology, results, conclusion &
implications.
• Poster must reach the venue till 6th March 2023.
