ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

It is with pleaure that I acknowledge my sincere gratitude

to our teacher, Mr. V.K Verma who taught and undertook
the responsibility of teaching the subject computer
science. I have been greatly benefited from his classes. I
am especially indebted to our Principal Mr. Robin Gupta
who has always been a source of encouragement and
support and without whose inspiration this project would
not have been a successful I would like to place on
record heartfelt thanks to him. Finally, I would like to
express my sincere appreciation for all the other students
of my batch their friendship & the fine times that we all
shared together.
PREFACE

In the field of Computer Science the term PROJECT refers to a

Computerization Work that is completely performed by using a
computer. Today when every field is going to be computerized
means that all task of any field now a days done by using
computer and their appropriate computer programs, then to do
every field’s different-different works, today different programs or
software’s are available in the form of Project.

Learning Python in schools is a part of our syllabus, and

according to the syllabus worked out by the CBSE, to which my
school is affiliated, I enjoyed doing project work for the session
2022-23. I learned a lot, especially learning by doing was a great
experience.

The report is a summary of what I observed and learnt in school.

My humble thanks are going to all the concerned related to my
project. I also feel that it is the right time to thank my teacher, who
guided me during my project. I also feel that it is the right time to
thank my parents, friends and my project partners for their
constant assistance, co-operation extended by them time to time.

Introduction
This is a project based on Parking Management. The
programhelps us to enter, display or alter the details of vehicles in
parking records.
Moreover & most importantly the program helps us The
programalso helps us to know the present status of a parking
detail,vehicle detail etc.
It includes various function programs to do the above
mentionedtasks.Data file handling has been effectively used in
the program. The database is a collection of interrelated data to
serve multipleapplications. That is database programs create files
ofinformation. So we see that files are worked with most, inside
the program.
DBMS
The software required for the for the management of data is
called asDBMS. It has 3 models
• Relation model
• Hierarchical model
• Network model

RELATIONAL MODEL It’s based on the concept on relation.

Relation is the table that consists of rows and columns. The rows
of the table are called tuple and the columns of the table are
called attribute. Numbers of rows in the table is called
ascardinality. Number of columns in the table is called as
degree.HIERARCHICAL MODEL: In this type of model, we have
multiplerecords for each record. A particular record has one
parentrecord. No chide record can exist without parent record. In
this, the records are organized in tree (like structureNETWORK
MODEL:- In this, the data is represented by collectionof records
and relationship is represented by (ink or association.

Need Of Computerization
No one can easily plan the journey comfortably as the process
isefficient and fast with being easy to access. Reservations can
bemade through the Indian railways site or at the ample
reservationcenters all over the country. Also now there are
authorizedagencies which provide reservation facility on behalf of
Indiarailways and without waiting in long line one can easily book
aticket. The booking is done through an E- Ticket issue which
hasa PNR number of which one has to take a print and just have
toshow at the station. It not only provides reservation but
cancellation can also be donethrough this system at ease and
one can use a credit card tocomplete the process. This being a
big step in terms ofimprovement in the railway system it is widely
accepted acrossthe country.

Advantages Of Project
 There is a greater sense of security due to the fact
thatpatrons do not actually walk to and from their own space.
 It is highly feasible for extremely small sites that are unableto
accommodate a conventional ramped parking structure.
 There is high parking efficiency (i.e. sf/space and cf/space).
 There is no need for driving while looking for an
availablespace.
 Emissions are greatly brought down and reduced.
 The patrons wait for their car in a highly
controlledenvironment.
 There are less chances for vehicle vandalism.
 There is a minimal staff requirement if it is used by
knownparkers.
 It is possible that the retrieval time is lower than
thecombined driving/parking/walking time in
conventionalramped parking structures. There is an easier
facade integration since there are noramping floors or
openings in exterior walls.
Limitations Of Project
 There is a greater construction cost per space (but this
maybe offset by the chance for lesser land costs per
space andthe system manufacturers say that the
operating andmaintenance cost will be lower as compared
to aconventional ramped parking structure).
 Use of redundant systems will result in a greater cost.
 It may be a bit confusing for unfamiliar users.
 It is not recommended for high peak hour volume facilities.
 There may be a fear of breakdown (How do I get my
carout?)
 There is an uncertain building department review
andapproval process.
 It requires a maintenance contract with the supplier

Project Aim And Objectives

 The project aims and objectives that will be achieved after

completion of the system is as follows:
 To eliminate the paper-work in
 To record every transaction in computerized system so that
the problem such as record file missing won’t happen.
 To design a user friendly graphical user interface which
suits the users.
 To complete the system according to project schedule
 To produce technical report that documents the
phases, tasks and deliverables in the project
 Future objective is to add Bar Code, SMS technologies into
the system.

Future Enhancement Of Project

The smart parking industry continuous to involve as an increasing

number of cities struggle with the traffic conjunction and parking
abilities while the development of sensor technology continues to
be core to the development of smart parking avoid variety of other
technology innovation and also enabling more systems including
cameras wireless communication data analytics induction loops
smart parking metres and advance the future of the smart parking
market is accepted to be significancely influenced by the arrival of
automated vehicles cities around the World are already beginning
to trials of parking vehicles specialized AV parking lots and robotic
parking valets.
