Module 5 CLE G7
LESSON 10
ASKING THE HOLY SPIRIT’S HELP
a. The Objective Plan of this Lesson 5
We have learned in the past lesson about our being communion with the Father.
The lesson teaches us that we are all having the same place in the Father’s house
because we are created according to image and likeness of God. We shall always love
one another because God loves us in the first place, then after that we have the
responsibility to love our brother and sisters around us. Being the sons and daughters of
God is becoming also our original calling and invitation that is to put our total trust on in
God alone. The more we love the Father in heaven, the more we act with charity on our
daily activities. God the Father has a special calling for each one of us, and that calling is
to love Him above all things. We love God not because we have done something good
but because we want to return the love that God has shown us by giving us His only Son
Jesus.
The day when the Holy Spirit is poured upon the Apostles is called as Pentecost.
Jesus Christ promised to send the helper to guide and strengthen them in the mission
that Jesus entrusted them. The mission of Jesus is to bring the good news about the
salvation of the world by the death and the sacrificial offering of Jesus on the cross.
There upon accepting the Holy Spirit, the Apostles and the Disciples started the mission
of Jesus, baptized them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We all baptized in the name of the TRINITY. The Trinity means the Father, the
Son and the Holy Spirit. They love us humanity with the unconditional love. They are the
one who created us in love. By this love, the Father has created us, and Jesus has died
for our sake, and of course the holy Spirit would always guide us in ever day of our lives.
When we pray, we are supposed to pray asking the Holy Spirit not only to guide us, but
to inspire our hearts doing good all the time for people living with us. By the virtues of
our faith, we come to realize that even though we cannot see the real presence of the
Holy spirit with our eyes, but we profoundly believe that the Holy Spirit is there with us,
molding into our conscience about the presence of God himself who loves us
unconditionally.

hopes and wishes. We are celebrating the liturgy as our media to worship and
response and participate in the banquet of the Lord. An example of the liturgy is the
sacrament of the Eucharist.
There are three elements in the liturgy which are very important for us to know
and have an idea of it,
a. The Holy Mass
The Holy Mass is the perfect form of the liturgy because we join the banquet of
Jesus during the Holy Mass. We heard the words of God, and ponder or reflect
on it, we also receive Christ as our spiritual food for our soul.
b. The seven sacraments
The word sacraments simply understood as the visible signs that is symbolized by
the presence of Jesus and is entrusted to the Church. It is a media by which the
grace of God is given using symbol that enables the receivers to grow in Holiness,
and will contribute to the growth of the Church in charitable works of mercy.
