ORDER:
AICTE in the reference first cited has framed a
Comprehensive Training Policy
for Technical Teachers.

AICTE has entered into an MoU with NITTTR Technical Teachers Training
Module Examination as per guidelines of Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India.
In view of ever-increasing globalization as well as competitiveness in modern
times, the need for well-qualified Engineers/ Professionals is imperative for(providing the
most apt & clinching solution to numerous and
complex real-world problems that affect the
Quality of Citizens Life and in everywhere and the genuine concern for making the relevant
educational curricula and training to Technical Teachers to match the
global needs is
assuming top priority. As a fitting response to the present needs, the AICTE has framed a
policy "National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT)". For building a better
educational ecosystem, it focuses the
on
capacity-building prowess of technical teachers,
vital facets of new teaching methodology, and innovative means of knowledge transfer.

This Comprehensive Technical Teachers Training Shall apply to all the teachers
now working intechnical institutions (as defined in Section 2 (h) of All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE) Act 1987) whose
programmes have been given recognition by
AICTE and also Universities
(including Deemed to be Universities) imparting technical
education (as defined in Section 2(g) of AICTE Act
1987) for such of their programmes which
have been approved by AICTE, New
Delhi, with effect from calendar year 2020.
With due foresight and with a view to encourage all our Teaching Staff
in our Sri Sairam

Sponsorship for Registration and Completion of NITTTR Eight Modules
(Online Certification Course) conducted by National Testing
Agency (NTA) as detailed below:

Registration for NITTTR - Rs.2000/

For completion of each Module
(in lirst attempt):
a. Pass
Rs. 1000/
b. Pass with marks 75% and above Rs. 1500/
C. Pass with marks 90% and above Rs. 2000/

TechuicalTeachers
completing all the Eight Modules, in first attempt, BEFORE April / May 2022
will be sponsored for Rs. 10,000/- as an additional encouragement.
ANTICIPATED BENEFITS FROM THE PROPOSED TRAINING PROGRAM
I t is strongly believed and expected that the Comprehensive Training
Program as envisaged in this policy document if properly implemented,
will go a long way in improving the quality of technical education in the

country.
The institutional environment, discipline and motivation of students /
teachers will also boost up, thus improving the quality of teaching-learning
processes.
The grooming in professional skills, values and attitudes will have a
profound impact on shaping up the young minds and transforming them
into socially responsible technical professionals.
Organisation of continuous in-service training progranms will help the
teachers to keep themselves abreast with the latest developments and also
correlate their teaching to the prevailing practice and indigenous
development as per the needs of the country.
I t will also promote a culture of continuous learning from the seniors and
ensure a cohesive teamwork within the department as well as institutions.
A niajor area of student-teacher interaction outside the
classroom, which
is presently conspicuous by its absence will also develop, enabling proper
mentoring, counselling and healthy personality development among the
students.
