Methods and Concepts of Political Science
In political science we also come to know some concepts, so-called political ones. Subject
concepts dealt with in political science include some :
1. Country
Political science is learning how a country stands and how a country exercises its
government, the purpose of which a country is founded, the relationship between its
state and its people and between states.
2. Dominion
Political science focuses on the issue of power in public life or in society. The focus of
the politic science focuses on the struggle to achieve or maintain power, or influence
over others, or against the doing of that power.

Making decisions point to the direction of a process that takes place until a desired
decision can be reached, decision making as a political concept involves decisions that
collectively bind together all of society. Such decisions are, among other things, relevant
to society's objectives.
4. Public policy
Political science is the study of the formation of public policy. Political life includes
various activities that influence the policies of those in authority to be accepted in a
community.
5. Distribution and allocation
Distribution or allocation is a rationing of a percentage of a value in society. Political
division and location are none other than the binding distribution and dissemination of
values.
The Method of Political Science
The method is basically a way to achieve the goal. The more correct our use of methods
and techniques in political science will be the better off we will be in approaching political
realities. The more precise and intensive their methods and techniques are applied, the closer
the science will come to the truth. Increasingly minimized the role of fantasy and unrealistic
expectations.
Research methods used in political science also involve induction and deduction.
1. The Induction Method
The methods employed by employing language that consistently constructs the
scientific theory of objects that are studied. The induction method includes descriptive,
analysis, evaluative, classification and comparison.
2. The Deduction Method
Deduction is a reversal of the induction method. In the use of this method a series of
procedures with a withdrawal of conclusions from common circumstances to particular
ones, and usually such research is done a lot in quantitative cohesion.
