Task 2: Assume that you are the SK Chairman of your barangay. Write a letter to Wide Horizons
Mobile company requesting for sponsorship on free internet connection in your office. This is for
the students in your barangay to also utilize for their online classes. Make sure that the letter
contains all the parts and the necessary information such as the conditions that your barangay
experiences and the benefits that the free internet connection will give. Write it in semi-block
format with margins of 1” on all sides.

Dear Sir Harry:

I would like to request for your sponsorship to set up a free internet connection in my
office. This will be really helpful for our dedicated but disadvantaged students.

Barangay Abatan has been blessed to be under the reach of Wide Horizons Mobile. In
fact, your telecommunications have been the main provider, supporting the communications and
online transactions in our community over the years.

However, the internet is a problem. We have surveyed our students in the barangay and
found out that many of them do not have a good reception and cannot afford regular internet.
Accordingly, this poses a major problem to the students in preparation for their online classes.

Hence, the free internet shall accommodate our project on providing free rooms with
computers intended for the less privileged students to attend their online classes, instead of
adapting to their homes as many of them report having no or unsuitable workplace.

As gratitude to you and your company, we, the Sangguniang Kabataan, plan to feature
the Wide Horizons Mobile in our local newspaper and include your company logo in our related
events and in our printed materials.
