INSTITUTIONAL AASSESSMENT FOR LEVEL II TRAINEES

Project 1:-Disassembling and assembling a computer

On this project you should perform disassembling and reassembling tasks.

Task 1:- Disassemble the CD-ROM, RAM, and CMOS Battery of your computer

Under this task you should provide with a full functional computer and you are expected
to disassemble the devices listed above following the standard computer maintenance
procedure.

Task 2:- Reassemble the CD-ROM, RAM, and CMOS Battery of your computer

Under this task you are going to reassemble the disassembled CD-ROM, RAM, and
CMOS Battery and make them operational (functional).

Project 2:- Accessing and using the internet

On this project you should access and use the internet, browse a specific webpage and
bookmark the webpage. You should browse another webpage and make the webpage as a
default homepage for the browser. You should also download a file from the internet.

Task 1:- Browse and Bookmark a webpage

Under this task you should browse a specific webpage called “

www.neaea.gov.et ” and book mark the webpage.

Task 2: Make a webpage default home page

Under this task you should browse a webpage “www.youtube.com” make this webpage
as a default homepage.

Task 3:- Download a file from the internet

Under this task you should download a pdf file “a brief history of the internet” from the
internet and save the file on the desktop.
Project 3:- Administer Network and Hardware Peripherals

On this project you should crimp the given UTP cable with the appropriate crimping
color code, connect each computer to the provided hub/switch with this cable. Configure
the computer with appropriate IP address and add the shared printer from the network and
print a file from one of the connected computer.
