REFLECTION

This movie reflection is entitled catch me if you can in which it revolves to the story
of one of the most famous con-artists in history, faked over eight identities, several
professions and a con Artist Mr. Frank Abegnale jr. This movie demonstrates how
forgery and creating fake checks may be done, it is the greatest story that can be
most relevant to our subject questioned documents. In his younger years, he started
a multi-million dollar swindle before he turned 19 years old. He even went so far as
to pretend to be a pilot with Pan America Airlines, which allowed him to take
advantage of free trips. He became a criminal because of his cunning and deceptive
abilities.

I am fascinated by his exceptional talent as he impersonates as a pilot, lawyer and


even a doctor. However, there is this NBI Agent that keeps tracking him and catching
up on his trail despite his huge success in his trickery. When Frank poses as an
emergency room doctor the whole things change because he fell in love with Brenda
the nurse that he met there. It is where he decides to settle down and have a family
of his own.

At the climax of the movie, Frank calls the FBI Agent and told him that he don’t want
to run anymore because he’s getting married. He was soon apprehended by the FBI
and was put on jail. When he was in jail, he attempt escapes up until the FBI Agent
came a visit and shows him a fraud check from a case he is working on and
immediately figures out that the bank teller was involved in a fraud and through that
they began helping each other to catch other con man man like him. I think it is the
best part when they began helping each other and also showing the FBI his skills.
Through this events, it shows important details on how forgery and falsification of
documents can be done which was showed in the movie perfectly.

This movie in conclusion is sensational from the how it shows us the life of Mr.
Abegnale that money and prestige cannot please our basic needs because it comes
and go it does not fulfill us wholeheartedly but through affection and love of a whole
family that is the most important of all that Mr. Abegnale longs and efforts to bring
back together his broken family again but he fails to.
