Lesson 2 Resultant

The document discusses three examples of calculating the resultant force of coplanar concurrent force systems using the graphical method. In the first example, the resultant of four forces acting on a body is calculated to be 302.53 lbs downward at an angle of 68.79 degrees. In the second example, the resultant, P, and direction of motion of three forces on a block are determined. In the third example, the resultant pull and angles between ropes and a canal are calculated for two locomotives pulling a vessel parallel to canal banks.
