The FADEC monitor the thrust lever position and trigger appropriate indication
on FMA as follows :
1 Both engines operating (above alt. thrust reduction) 2 One engine inoperated
(with speed above green dot)
Indication on FMA :
Example 1:
Both levers are set at FLEX
detent, then the thrust limit
mode is FLEX .
Example 2:
Both levers are set at CL
detent, then the thrust limit CL
mode is CLB .
