22
Drive axle maintenance manual

gear oil, add oil until the oil is discharged from the oil face (about

23L), screw the oil screw plug after oil.

2.5 Use and maintenance

1. Keep the amount of oil in the lubricating oil, always check the amount of oil in use.

2. The refueling hole of the main reducer is located in the rear cover of the bridge housing near the center of the

bridge, and the oil drain hole is located at the bottom of the bridge housing.

3. Use 80W/90 gl-5 grade gear oil.

4. Fuel the rear axle until the oil comes out, about 23 liters.

5. Drive axle gear oil replacement cycle for 50000 km or a year, the run-in period (2500 km) should be replaced

after the gear oil.

2.6 Other matters needing attention

1. The run-in mileage of the bridge is stipulated as 2500 km, and the loading capacity within 200 km of the run-

in period shall not exceed 70% of the rated load capacity within 200 ~ 1500 km, and the loading capacity

within 1500 ~ 2500 km can be increased to 90%.

2. Serious overload and load concentration of vehicles will cause deformation or fracture of the bridge shell, the

use of the process must be in accordance with the provisions of the driving conditions of the load load.

3. Especially in the use of heavy load and soft road conditions should be paid attention to avoid the impact

operation (such as in the non-hardened road freight yard suddenly start), this will cause the reducer assembly

and half shaft abnormal damage.

3. Usage and precautions

Before using

(1) Fill the reducer with thiophosphorous 85W / 90 grade heavy duty gear oil (APlGL grade 5) to the oil hole

level from the oil filling hole on the bridge housing, about 20 litres.in the middle bridge, about 0.8 l is

injected into the inter-shaft differential from the injection hole on the differential housing.

(2) Fill each grease nozzle with a sufficient amount of 2# lithium base grease.

After use

(1) After the new car runs for 1000 km, replace 16 litres of middle bridge lubricating oil, 0.8 litres of inter-axle

differential lubricating oil and 15 litres of rear bridge reducer.

23
Drive axle maintenance manual
(2) Since the torque transferred by the half shaft flange is very large, and there is impact load, it is necessary to

check the fastening of the half shaft bolt frequently, so as to prevent loosening and the resulting half-shaft bolt

fracture.

(3) Drive 6000 ~ 8000 km, should remove the hub, clean the hub cavity and hub bearing.Fill the cavity between

the roller on the inner ring of the bearing and the cage with lubricating oil (do not apply only one layer on the

outside of the roller) and then install it. Adjust hub bearings as required. When assembling, pay attention to

check the threads of axle sleeve and hub bearing nut. If the threads are slippery, seriously bumped and the fit

clearance is too large, they must be replaced, otherwise serious accidents will occur when the wheel is thrown

out. Check and lubricate regularly and clean vent plug.

(4) When driving for 15,000km, tighten the differential bearing nut and differential housing nut, remove the

intermediate, rear axle drive shaft, tighten the flange nut and replace the lubricating oil.

(5) Driving 45,000 kilometers, after the disintegration of the parts of the intermediate and the rear axle, should

pay attention to the relative position of the matching parts, mark, such as differential housing left and right

bearing cover is not interchangeable. When removing the half shaft, two bolts to tighten the reducer housing

can be used to screw in the threaded hole on the half axon edge to push out the half shaft. When assembling,

the bearing, gear and shaft diameters should be cleaned and lubricated and reassembled according to the

original position when disassembling. When assembling the differential assembly, the four shaft diameter of

the cross shaft and the inner hole of the planetary gear must be coated with lubricating oil to avoid the

instantaneous lack of lubricating oil and damage the shaft diameter, resulting in the sintering of the cross shaft

and planetary gear.
