TOYOTA K313 CVT TRANSMISSION
DCT P2757 TCC PCS PERFORMANCE FAULT
COMPLAINT: Starting in 2014, the U341E in Toyota Corollas 1.8L applications has been replaced with a
K313 CVT. Some 2014 to 2017 Corolla vehicles may exhibit a MIL "ON" condition with DTC
P2757 stored in memory for a TCC Pressure Control Solenoid (SLU) Performance fault.
CAUSE: There are several possibilities for this code to set. The most common cause is a mechanically
failed SLU solenoid. This is a normally vented solenoid. When it is not energized, the circuit
between the converter regulator valve and the solenoid is open to an exhaust through the valve
in the snout of the solenoid. This valve is also blocking supply pressure from entering this
circuit when it is off. When the valve inside this solenoid sticks, P2757 sets.
If the TCC Regulator and/or Relay Valve sticks, this too can set the code. Additionally, this
solenoid works in conjunction with the SC and SL solenoid to control both TCC apply but also
garage shifts into reverse or drive. If the SL solenoid fails to function, the code will set.
On rare occasions, the converter clutch itself can be faulty as well as the stator bushings or
input shaft sealing rings.
CORRECTION: Solenoids are not available separately which will require replacing the entire valve body
assembly.

† - The Input Shaft Speed Sensor (NT) is mounted internally onto the case under the valve body. It is a hall
effect sensor which is not checked by resistance. It is supplied with 4.75-5.25 volts and provides a digital
pulse signal to the computer. The Primary Pulley Speed Sensor (NIN) and the Secondary Pulley Speed
Sensor (NOT) are mounted externally on the case. The NOT sensor is also a hall effect sensor which is also
supplied with 4.75-5.25 volts and provides a digital pulse signal to the computer. The NIN sensor however
is an AC voltage pulse generator providing an alternating current signal to the computer. This sensor will
measure in resistance with a value of 560 to 680 ohms at 20° C (68° F).

• Use Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE
• Full fill: 7.9 qt (7.5L)
• Filling and adjusting fluid lever must be done when the car is level with temperatures between 35 to
45°C (95 to 113°F).
• Use a scan tool to observe transmission fluid temperature.
• Without a scan tool, jump terminals 4 (CG) and 13 (TC) to observe D Shift Indicator light for temperature.
Slowly move the shift lever from P to D, and then back to P (keep the shift lever in each position for
approximately 3 seconds). While observing the D shift indicator on the combination meter, move the shift
lever back and forth between N and D at an interval of less than 1.5 seconds for 6 seconds or more.
Performing this operation will cause the vehicle to enter fluid temperature detection mode.
