IMPRESSION SPEECH

My respect to _________________________________________, to our very


proactive__________________ ____________________ under the strong leadership
of our very own_________________, to our supportive ______________________, to
our dynamic _______________________, to my dedicated co-educators and
demonstration teachers, and to everyone who’s here in our virtual platform who tuned in
and participated in our series of activities, I would like to greet you all a warm and
fulfilling evening.
I am Mr. Jaspher John O. Delgado from ______________ and today, I was
tasked to deliver my impression speech regarding the International Demonstration
Teaching Showcase.
I am indeed certain that everyone here is grateful that he/she was given a
chance to participate in this essential and meaningful experience brought to us by
Aloysian Publications in partnership with Betma English with the theme “Upskilling
Teachers’ Competency in the 21st Century”
I know everyone will agree if I say that the current education has become more
and more digital. This has pushed educators around the world to reconsider what it
means to be a teacher in the 21st century. The so-called “digital revolution” has
reshaped the pedagogical practices and the ways in which we, teachers, and our
learners engage. It is thus important that we involve ourselves in this kind of opportunity
in upskilling our teaching skills to meet the demands of today’s education. And, with the
Aloysian Publication’s primary thrust of improving the quality of instruction, research,
and extension of its member educators, well, I can proudly say that today’s generation
of teachers is in good hands. I strongly believe that through the knowledge, skills, and
experiences instilled in us from this 3-day event, it will surely help us to achieve our
optimum performance as teachers across all grade levels and subject areas in our own
home institutions.
I would also like to mention how commendable the organization process of this
event was. Starting from the dissemination of information through the division offices, to
the preparation procedures up to the implementation stage which results in the success
of the International Demonstration Teaching Showcase. It is my honor to salute the
great personalities who put their utmost effort and time in making this event possible. I
also appreciate how Aloysian Publication gives fair opportunities for learning for both
public and private teachers which creates strong partnerships. I also like how the
organizing team supports and conforms to the legalities and regularities under the
Department of Education.
On behalf of all the participating members and non-members, I would like to
extend our warmest gratitude to Aloysian Publication for giving us this one-of-a-kind
experience. The event may conclude but all the learnings will not. I would also love to
acknowledge all the participants from all over the country who chose us to be your
partner in your pursuit of pedagogical development. I hope that this will not be the end
of our partnership and we are looking forward to always having you not just as a mere
participant but also as an alliance in the field of education.
To conclude, I am very much glad to say that this event is a tremendous
success. Truly, this event has met its purpose to help each participating educator to
upskill and restrengthen its areas and uphold quality education. All objectives were met,
and essential skills have been developed. I deeply hope that as we go back to our day-
to-day tasks, we may always bear the learnings we had from this experience. To the
organizers, members, and participants, please accept my warmest congratulations. As I
end this speech, let me leave you a quotable quote from Alvin Toffler, “The illiterate of
the 21st century won’t be those who can’t read & write but those who can’t learn,
unlearn & relearn”. Again, have a good evening, everyone!
