T03 System Function: Power Supply Voltage and
Audible&Visual Alarm
T3-01Power Supply Voltage and Audible&Visual Alarm
Objective To verify that the power supply voltage and the audible and visual alarm function
of the NE and rack are normal.
Test Networking
Diagram
Preset Conditions The network commissioning must be complete and the power cables must be
connected properly.
Test Procedures 1. Use a power meter to measure the input power supply of the power supply board in
the sub-rack.
2. Simulate the alarm in NE; observe the alarm indicators (LED) on the cabinet.
3. Simulate the alarm in NE, check the audible alarm in the NE;
Expected Results 1. The measure power supply voltage is -40V~-57V.
2. The simulation of each scenario is successful. Details are as follows:
Only the green indicator should be always on when the equipment has no
alarms.
The green and yellow indicators on top of the cabinet should be always on
when the equipment has a minor alarm.
The green, yellow and red indicators on top of the cabinet should be always on
when the equipment has a critical alarm.
3. The alarm sound can be cleared by pressing a button.
