Uso do Present Simple Present Simple - Affirmative

Geralmente, usamos o present simple para falar Present simple – he/she


sobre atividades do dia a dia de outras pessoas. Veja
os exemplos abaixo: • Affirmative

Rebecca cleans the house at the weekend. Para a maioria dos verbos, acrescenta-se –s ao final.
(= Rebecca limpa a casa no fim de semana.)
She gets up at 7 a.m.
He brushes his teeth after breakfast. He rides his bicycle to work.
(= Ele escova os dentes depois do café da manhã.) He cooks in the evening.

Henry doesn’t take the bus to work. Para verbos terminados em –ch, –sh, -o e –x, acrescenta-se
(= Henry não pega ônibus para o trabalho.) –es
ao final.
Does Cindy share a flat with a friend?
Nancy watches TV after dinner.
(= A Cindy divide o apartamento com uma amiga?)
Rebecca brushes her teeth in the morning.
He goes to work at 9 a.m.
She relaxes at the weekend.

E para verbos terminados em consoante mais –y,


deve-se remover o –y e acrescentar -ies.

She studies English on Fridays.

E atenção! O verbo have vira has.

He has breakfast at 7 a.m.


She has lunch with friends.
