Dear Hon. Baccay:

We are are glad to inform you that starting this April we will be
implementing the 2022 BRIGADA PAGBASA, this is in response to the
DepEd Issued Memorandum 173, s. 2019 Brigada Pagbasa as a form of
Brigada Eskwela responding to Hamon: Bawat Bata Bumabasa or DepEd
3Bs Initiative.

In connection to this, Project BOTO ( Better Ones Teach Others} was


conceptualized to help our 32 struggling learners/readers at Callao
Elementary School.Parent Volunteers, NGAs, Other GOs, LGUs, Community
including NGOs, Private Sector, Pupil/Student Organization Officers and or
members and Alumni Association can serve as Volunteer Tutors of the 2022
BRIGADA PAGBASA. This will help strengthen the 3Bs because of varied
strategies to be employed.

Knowing your love and concern to our school children, may we seek
your support for providing us a room which will serve as HLS for our in need
learners. This is one of the effective activities in the implementation of
Brigada Pagbasa. We will contribute in the set up of the HLS and provide
technical assistance to the volunteer tutors and and in the establisment of
HLS. Rest assure that your support will help a lot of our learners in our
school-community.

establishment of Home Learning Space (HLS) this month of April, 2022.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

WHEREAS, Callao Elementary School and The Brother Foundation have


come together to collaborate and make a proposal for the Implementation of
Project CASIGA (Callaosians School In a Garden).

WHEREAS, partner agency, The Brother Foundation represented by


MAYET BARIZO, TBF Secretary agreed into a collaborative agreement in
which Callao Elementary School will be the lead agency and named
proponent Mr. Ricky Quizzagan and other supportive partners or
stakeholders in this proposal; and

WHEREAS, the partners herein desire to enter into a Memorandum of


Understanding setting forth the services to be provided by the collaborative;
and

WHEREAS, the proposal prepared and approved by the collaborative


through its partners is to be submitted to the Schools Division Office of
Cagayan on or before July, 2022.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

NOW, THEREFORE, it hereby agreed by and between the partners as


follows:

On the implementation of the Project CASIGA (Callao School In a Garden)


the school must ensure the safety of the learners and all Callaosian Family
by providing them the safety health paraphernalia/s.
The Partner Agency is to help the school in implementing the project thru
donating/installing trellis in the Garden Area for its improvement.

The parents/guardians will help monitor the reading progress and safety of
their children.

TIMELINE

The roles and responsibilities described above shall bind the parties within the
period from July to August, 2022.

COMMITMENT TO PARTNERSHIP

The partners agree and to collaborate and assistance of the implementation of the
Project CASIGA (Callaosians School In a Garden) in response to DepEd Order 293
s. of 2007. In support to mitigation efforts, school garden at elementary ensure a
continuous supply of vegetables for the student consumption.

We, the undersigned have read and agreed with their Memorandum of Agreement.
Further, we have reviewed the proposed plan and approved it.
