Course Description: This course is prepared for students to gain knowledge on the importance’s of rhythmic activities, the role it plays in the
development of nationalism, and the preservation of our cultural heritage. It will help the students to improve self-expression through dance
interpretation, creating and performing simple movements. This course highlights the application of the rhythmic bodily movements with
have emphasis on fundamental rhythmic, basic dance step and appreciation of the country’s rich cultural heritage which strengthens the
awareness on dance education as a global perspective in the 21 st century. Students will be gives varied rhythmic activities and experiences
to develop their skills and creativity in dancing.

This course aims to help the students draw knowledge that will guide him in his life as a means of keeping himself physically fit.

Course Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
1. Understanding of basic concepts across the domain of knowledge.
2. Critical, analytical, and creative thinking.
3. Capacity to personally interpret the human experience.
4. Ability to appreciate and contribute to artistic beauty.
5. The ability to contribute personally and meaningfully to the country’s development.
6. Knowledge of basic work-related skills.

Cognitive: Define and understand the terms in rhythmic activities and dances together with its objectives.
Affective: Learn the actual value of rhythmic activities and innovate new ideas on how to improve oneself.
Psychomotor: Develop a personal dance program based on age, level of aggression and goals, and prepare for physically fit
