educating the youth about hazard safety and basic information about disaster
preparedness and response. The location fits into the goal of the group since the

VIII. Beneficiaries
The primary and secondary beneficiaries of the project are 20 students (children)
ages 9-15 years old of Barangay Calicanto, Batangas. They are also the
participants.
They are the target audience since they are the most vulnerable and they are not
well informed about disaster risk reduction and preparedness. Through the
project, the group will be focusing on educating and giving information to the
beneficiaries and participants of the project.
X.Objectives
General Objectives
Generally, this project aims to help school administrators, staff, teachers and students to be
prepared in case of emergencies and disasters due to natural hazards (e.g. earthquakes, floods,
typhoons, landslides, etc.) or man-made causes (e.g. urban fire, chemical spills, bombs, etc.) to
protect themselves from personal injury and loss of life as well as to protect the school property
from damage.
Specific Objectives
By the start of this project, the project proponents are expected to execute an awareness
seminar that will focus on disaster risk reduction.
To promote and instill basic knowledge and values to vulnerable children and students, to
assess themselves and others, knowing that calamities and emergencies are always
unexpected.
To distribute emergency lights after the awareness seminar as part of the project’s
execution, that will serve as a souvenir and a useful tool at the same time.
To increase the knowledge and understanding of the disaster phenomenon, its different
contextual aspects, impacts and public health consequences.
The group will first start off by making a request letter to give to the chairman of
(Barangay Calicanto, Batangas; or San Juan, Batangas). If the letter will be approved, then
we will proceed with finding participants for the program by asking local schools and
universities if they have any students interested in the project. With the help of the LGUs,
local school functionaries, and our NSTP instructor Mrs. Michelle Abania the project will be
done and coordinated without any discrepancy.
Through Awareness Seminars” will be a successful project with the effort of all the people
involved. Before beginning any activity, the initiative will first send out letters of request to the
Barangay. The team will set up every means of fund-raising after receiving approval. The
purchasing of materials and attendance at seminars can begin once the necessary financing is in
place. The first section of the awareness seminar will be completed quickly with everyone's
assistance. The young people and volunteers will alternately keep an eye on the sprouts'
development. This initiative will not only improve the environment but also display the
"bayanihan" (local slang for togetherness and collaboration) among community members.
Information Planning
Each group member is given the chance to debate and evaluate their ideas in order to create
the structure for the activity. They decided to execute the planned project in Calicanto,
Batangas City, where it will be extremely advantageous to be equipped whenever there is a
threat of calamities. Sangguniang Kabataan support would be helpful in spreading the word
about the campaign and assuring its success
Implementation Plan
The members will be doing a plan that will be implement every Saturday in our chosen
barangay. This plan goes through a thorough thinking about the funds needed, plotted
activities and other things that is needed to make this project successful.
Alignment
The execution of a project successfully depends on collaboration, communication, and
consistency. With the help of the Sangguniang Kabataan, the community's volunteer
residents, the young, and the barangay authorities, the project's supporters anticipate a
successful project execution. The advocates consistently follow the strategy and fulfill their
duties as specified by the activity. Additionally, in order for the initiative to be effective, the
members depend on people to take part and use what they've learnt in this activity in their
own home.

The suggested project proposal will require budget/funds to complete the stated
objectives, with the materials that will be provided for the seminars. One of the proponents is
coordinating with the Barangay Official, which is also encouraging to have their full support as
our charity for this project. To ensure the project's viability, the group members agreed to
contribute ₱325 each, which will serve as the initial funding for the project, along with the
donations from the sponsors for the materials needed which will be properly distributed to the
participants of the said seminars. Even just to achieve its goals, the amount of money provided is
already a big help to continue and implement this project.

and program, as well as provide observations for project development and improvement.
Furthermore, the evaluation will be used to reduce the rate of ineffectiveness if the project
is repeated.
The project will be coordinated by the project staff, which is divided into teams.
Each staff member is responsible for different aspects of the activity before, during, and
after it takes place.
Leader and Assistant Leader
They will be in charge of leading, checking, and monitoring the activity's
preparation and implementation. They must be aware of every detail from
the beginning to the end of the project.
Documentation Team
They will be in charge of creating some request letters to be submitted in
the barangay, as well as submitting before the activity.
They will be taking photos and filming the event for documentation
purposes.
This team must present a narrative report after the activity.
Food Preparation and Distribution Team
This team is in charge of looking after the preparation of snacks and drinks
during the event.
During break time, they will be in charge of distributing snacks. They must
ensure that the foods were distributed evenly.
Organizers and Coordinators
They are in charge of the event's preparation.
They must have backup plans in place in case of unexpected events during
the activity.
They will coordinate with the partner organizations both before and during
the event.
Facilitators
They must inspect the site before beginning work on the project.
They will kindly and actively accommodate the activity's participants.
They will look for used materials both before and after the program.
To ensure that the project can meet its financial needs, especially for the
materials required during and after sessions, solicitations, and fund-raising
efforts such as donations, grants, and sponsorships from various sources will
be made. It is crucial to communicate and be transparent about how the funds
will be utilized so that the contributors are aware of the relevant details
regarding what, when, why, and how the organization will distribute the funds
and budgets obtained.
In order to successfully impart the knowledge and skills required by the youth
to function in situations when they confront catastrophes and calamities,
participatory approaches will be used. As a result, generating materials and
handouts is important and requires some financial assistance.
