Course Objectives:
1. To introduce the advanced BIM compliant soft wares.
2. To develop proficiency in Revit Architecture and its applications.
3. To discuss the holistic approach of designing buildings using software.
COURSE OUTCOME:
Students will be able to
CO1: Demonstrate skills in BIM software and its applications. (L2)
CO2: Apply the various aspects related to building design using BIM software. (L3)
CO2: Detail the various elements of buildings using Revit. (L3)
NOTE:
a. Classroom exercise involving Architectural design project to be done using Revit.
b. Detailing of the Architectural design project has to be done using advanced options in
Revit. c. A portfolio of Revit exercises and assignments done in the class to be submitted for
progressive marks and SEE.

Objectives:
1. To introduce the advanced applications of Revit.
2. To familiarize with the various plugins used for Revit.
3. To generate 3D models and renders using Revit V-ray for both interiors and
exteriors.
COURSE OUTCOME:
Students will be able to
CO1: Develop skills related to the advanced MEP detailing in Revit. (L3)
CO2: Identify the methods of estimating project using Revit. (L2)
CO3: Apply the rendering skills for interiors and exteriors using V-ray. (L3)
NOTE:
a. Classroom exercise detailing MEP services in a building.
b. Construction drawings using Revit MEP and structures.
c. Energy analysis report to be generated for the building.
d. Walkthrough and image rendering to be done of Architectural design project using V-ray
for Revit.
e. A portfolio of Revit MEP and V-ray for Revit exercises and assignments done in the class
to be submitted for progressive marking.
