April 1 Started business by Parth with cash ` 3,00,000, Furniture ` 1,00,000 and stock `
2,00,000 in his own building costing ` 5,00,000.
April 3 Purchased goods of ` 40,000 from Suresh and paid 50% of due amount
immediately.
April 5 Sold goods costing ` 40,000 at ` 50,000 to Raman and received 40% in cash.
April 6 Paid Carriage of ` 10,000 and Office expenses ` 5,000.
April 8 Purchased a Machine of ` 30,000 from Rakesh and paid installation charges of `
1,000.
April 10 Goods of ` 4,000 returned to Swapnil and balance amount was paid.
April 13 Cash of ` 10,000 deposited into bank.
April 17 Cash of ` 4,000 is withdrawn by owner for personal use.
April 20 Purchased goods of ` 30,000 and paid carriage ` 2,000.
April 25 Goods of ` 3,000 returned by Raman and balance amount was received.
April 29 Cash of ` 20,000 withdrawn from bank (60% for personal use)
April 30 Purchase furniture of ` 10,000 and paid carriage ` 1,000.

cash.
April 6 Paid Rent of ` 20,000 and Travelling Expenses ` 5,000.
April 8 Purchased Furniture of ` 20,000 and paid Carriage of ` 2,000.
April 10 Goods of ` 3,000 returned to Mohit and balance amount was paid.
April 13 Cash of ` 50,000 deposited into bank. (50% in the personal saving
account of the owner)
April 17 Cash of ` 5,000 is withdrawn by owner for personal use.
April 20 Purchased goods of ` 40,000 and paid carriage ` 2,000.
April 25 Goods of ` 2,000 returned by Rakesh and balance amount was
received.
April 29 Cash of ` 20,000 withdrawn from bank (60% for personal use)
April 30 Sold goods costing ` 20,000 at a profit of 20% to Mohan.

Jan. 2, Sold goods to Manish for ` 20,000 at 10% trade discount and Paid carriage `
1,000.
Jan. 4, Purchased goods from Vikas for ` 20,000 at 10% trade discount and paid carriage
` 500.
Jan. 5, Received a cheque from Manish of ` 17,000 in full settlement .
Jan. 7, Purchased a second hand Car from ‘Gupta & Sons’ for ` 50,000 and paid ` 2,000
on its repairs.
Jan. Manish’s cheque was dishonoured and dishonoured charges were ` 2,000 each.

Oct.2 ` 80,000 were transferred from owner’s personal bank A/c to Business Current A/c.
Oct. 5 Bought goods from Anant of ` 10,000 at 10% trade discount and Paid carriage `500.
Oct. 9 Purchased an old typewriter for ` 10,000 and spent ` 1,000 on its repairs.
Oct.11 Sold goods to Naresh for ` 20,000 and received a cheque after deducting 10% cash
discount.
Oct 14 Paid cash of ` 8,000 and Naresh’s cheque into bank.
Oct 19 Withdrew ` 20,000 from bank and out of which ` 5,000 deposited in to owner’s
personal
bank A/c and remaining kept for business use.
Oct 21 Naresh’s cheque dishonoured and ` 200 is debited by Bank as dishonoured charges.
Oct 27 Goods of Rs 2,000 were returned to and balance was paid by issue of a cheque after
deducting 10% cash discount.
Oct 29 Received a cheque from Mayank for commission of ` 3700 and same was endorsed
to
Sohan in full settlement.
Oct30 Nikhil became insolvent and only 40 paisa in rupee recovered from him.
Oct31 Pass book showed debit of ` 1,000 for bank charges and credit of `500 for interest.
Oct31 After retaining ` 1,000 in hand remaining amount was deposited into bank.
