Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme
Attractive Package
 Aims to attract the best students from around the world to
pursue PhD studies in Hong Kong.
 Provides a monthly stipend of HK$27,100;
 Offers awardees a tuition fee waiver for their whole normative
study period;
 Provides a lodging award of up to HK$100,000;
 Provides a conference travel allowance of HK$13,600 per year.

Postgraduate Studentship
CUHK Studentship:
 Monthly studentship: around HK$18,025
 Total academic travel allowance:
 HK$10,000 (MPhil)
 HK$30,000 (PhD)

* Students awarded studentships will assist in teaching and research works

for the Division.

* Local full-time students with postgraduate studentships will be granted

tuition waiver during the normative study period.
