Wind Classification To AS4055 2012

This document provides an overview of the AS4055 wind classification standard for housing in Australia. It describes the key factors used in the classification process - wind region, terrain category, topographic class, and shielding class. The classification determines the wind speed category for a site. Two examples are provided showing the classification for specific sites. A comparison is made to the more detailed AS1170.2 standard.
