Doculab 2

This document provides the procedure for constructing and measuring a resistive circuit in Multisim. It instructs the user to build the circuit shown in Figure 1a and then measure the voltages across and currents through several circuit elements. These measurements should be recorded in Tables 1 and 2, along with noting the polarities of the voltages and currents.

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:

Procedure:

1. Construct the circuit shown in figure 1 using Multisim.

Figure 1a: Resistive Circuit in Multism

2. Measure the voltages V AB, V BC, V AD, V DC, V BD, and V AC. Enter the values in Table1.
Note the polarities of the voltages.

Figure 2a: Voltage Across AB

Figure 2b: Voltage Across BC

Figure 2c: Voltage Across AD

Figure 2d: Voltage Across DC

Figure 2e: Voltage Across BD

Figure 2f: Voltage Across AC

3. Measure the currents I AB, I CB, I AD, I CD, and I FA and enter the values in Table 2. Note
the polarity (sign) of the currents.
