Class 4 History

Sources of history can be divided into three categories - archaeological sources like monuments, inscriptions, and artifacts; literary sources such as biographies and religious texts; and oral sources comprising stories and poems passed down between generations. Archaeologists and historians work together to preserve these sources of history because our understanding of the past depends on them, and they help us appreciate our history. The document then provides definitions for historical terms and short-answer questions testing comprehension of sources and historical figures. Students are directed to complete additional exercises in their textbook.
