Individual activity:

Prepare an argumentative essay in which the relationship between

Globalization and the Environment is described from a critical and
reflective position, defining the foundations of the relationship between
the two concepts, their effects and impacts on human health, on the
ecosystem and the possible solutions to the negative effects of
globalization on the planet.

Make the respective citation and reference of the bibliographic sources

consulted to argue the content of the essay, which must be at least five
(5) different sources, such as scientific articles, theses, books, and
documents with academic and scientific support.

1
Participation in the forum
This item includes two components:

-Define the concept of circular economy, its benefits and an example of

your closest environment where this model of production and
consumption is applied. In this item, the student can propose a model
that is their own authorship and inventiveness.

- Socialize the essay in the forum. This element consists of commenting

on the essay made by a classmate, who must identify himself with the
name and make a contribution that offers depth and critical analysis
regarding the work done by him. Suggest new arguments or validate the
exposed ones, with new documentary sources to support the enrichment
of the exposed narrative. Likewise, it can suggest improvement in the
methodological and narrative aspects in which the essay is presented.

The essay will have a minimum length of two (2) pages, a maximum of
three (3) and with the following structure:

1. Title: it is made up of a sentence or brief text that describes the topic

that is going to be developed.
It must be a phrase that arouses the interest of the reader and
introduces him in a general way to the subject.

2. Introduction: In this item, relevant aspects of the topic to be

discussed are synthetically exposed. Its content must be clear, coherent
and attractive to keep the reader's attention and show interest in
continuing to read the writing. The introduction can end with a
question, which will be answered throughout the essay.

3.Knot or Body: Of the parts of the essay, this is the most important
because it is not only the greatest extension in terms of content, but
also, it is where all the reasons or explanations are exposed to answer
the questions of the introduction.
In this part of the essay, all the ideas that support or "argue" what was
raised in the central thesis are integrated. It can also contain the
discussion with one or more authors who have already addressed the
topic and against whom there is an alternative interpretation of it.
Within the node or body, all the data, concepts and/or references that
give greater support and argumentation to the exposed content must
2
be included.

4. Conclusions: In this item, a synthesis of what has been exposed is

made, the findings are described and an answer is given to the question
or approach raised at the beginning of the introduction.

5.Bibliography: In this space, all the sources consulted and that have
been referenced throughout the document are recorded, as well as the
paraphrasing. The bibliography is registered according to the APA
standard at the end of the document and in alphabetical order.
