Registration

Last date for registration is 24th August, 2011

To register for a placement process, the students will be required to pay a fees of Rs.1000.

If a student is not placed at the end of the placement process, they will have the right to get a refund of Rs.500.

Pointers
Students are requested to dress formally for the placement process

It is compulsory to attend at least 75% of workshops/ seminars organized by CDC

Indiscipline of any kind would not be tolerated by the college authorities

Students are not allowed any direct contact with the company. All communication has to be routed through CDC.

Copying SOPs of alumni is punishable.

Companies
Job profiles offered analysts, traders, research associates and management trainees. No specific process is followed by all companies

The selection process of every company would be notified to the students prior to its arrival on campus for recruitment

Resume Authentication
All students are required to present a hard copy of their updated resume for authentication and 10 FINAL COPIES

Resume authentication will take place from 29th August to 2nd September

The following DOCUMENTS are also required for authentication:


i) Class 10th, 12th, and semester exam mark sheet ii) Letter of completion to validate internships iii) Certificates

AUTHENTICATION

Soft copy of sample resumes shall be sent to all students on their mail ids by Thursday 18th August 2nd September is the last date for resume authentication All students need to mail a soft copy of their authenticated CV to [email protected] by Saturday 27th August, 11:59 PM Only CDC authenticated resumes to be used for placements After Phase I, students would be given a chance to make changes to their resumes, and after authentication, their copies would be submitted with CDC.

Ranking Companies

A tentative list of all companies recruiting from campus will be mailed to each student in the last week of August Students are required to rank the companies mentioned based on their individual preference and submit the rank-sheet. Cumulative ranking will be used to calculate the TOP 6-8 Companies from the rank-sheet submitted by each student

These will comprise the PHASE I Companies.

Placement Policy

Companies would be called in 2 sessions. The first session will be held in OctoberNovember when the top 6 ranked companies would be invited on campus.

The second session will be held in December/ January.

Students receiving offers from any company shall not be allowed to sit for any further placement processes.

If 2 companies are coming on campus on the same day, and a student gets selected for both the companies, the student will be given a period of half an hour to choose one of the offers.

If a student gives consent for a company, which later refuses to be part of the placement process, then that consent would be ignored and not be accounted for.

Placement Policy
Consent once given cannot be withdrawn unless CDC is informed prior to 24 hours before the companys arrival If a student refuses to sit for a placement process, he/she had given consent for, then the concerned student will not be allowed to sit for further placement processes.

Consents will not be accepted unless sent by E-mail to the ID requested by CDC

Failure to meet deadlines will result in ignorance of consent.
