Introduction
This is the story of Beowulf, a warrior from Geats comes to the rescue of Hrothgar, the
king of the Danes whose land is being attacked by a monster, Grendel. Beowulf
succeeds and defeats Grendel. To show his prowess, he even kills Grendel with his
bare hands. However, the tension of the story escalates, because Grendel's mother is
now on the warpath to get revenge. As the story progresses, Beowulf kills Grendel's
mother in her liar with a sword that giants of a past time once used. After this victory,
Beowulf returns home to Geats. Fifty years pass. However, there is one final battle.
There is a dragon that plagues his people because of stolen treasure. More
importantly, Beowulf now has to defend his people. He fails at first, but then with the
help of Wiglaf, a servant, chases the dragon into its lair and kills it. However, in the
process, Beowulf receives a fatal wound and dies. Finally, he is buried by the sea.

2. Beowulf is a Geatish hero who fights the monster Grendel, Grendel's mother,
and a fire-breathing dragon. Beowulf's boasts and encounters reveal him to be
the strongest, ablest warrior around. In his youth, he personifies all of the best
values of the heroic culture.

4. Helps old King Beowulf slay dragon. Wechstan's son, relation of Beowulf.

6. Great warrior. King in story. Had a great mead-hall-Herot or the Hall of the
Hart, where he feasted & rewarded his warriors.

8. Mother of Grendel and a far more powerful monster.
IV. Plot
When Grendel arrived at the Mead-hall and makes some trouble to the people and
eating people and fight with Beowulf.
Beowulf tries to kill Grendel's mother with his sword, but it won't pierce her skin.
He is forced to fight her with his bare hands. The two wrestle back and forth until Beowulf
finds a huge, ornamental sword, made by the giants of the land.
After the fight of Beowulf to the dragon, Beowulf died and the dragon also died and save the
Scandinavia.
They want us to be bravery, honor, and loyalty. Bravery that we need to fight and
keep going in our life even there are so many obstacle roaming around us. Honor to be
respect to the people around us. Loyalty to be loyal of what we are doing and don't be a
traitor.
Being dead, it's better to be dead at young age with honor and dignity rather than
growing old with but live a cowardly life in which you neglect your responsibilities.
VI. Evaluation
A. I liked the book so much it have so much fighting scene and moral lesson in our life.
B. Yes I will surely recommend this book to others because it not only contain exciting and
fun plots it also contains moral lessons that are actually happening in real life.
Plot
1. Like Beowulf, being a hero and want to save the place it's like our parent's that our parent's
is the hero in our life, they work and make money to give the thing the we need and want's.
2. Being Brave that we need to be brave so that we can easily fight our problems in our life.
4. Being Loyal to our work and things that we do in our life so that we will not get easily bored.
It's so fantastic story and every character on the story having own characteristic that we
can reflect to our self and some scene of the story is we can relate this in our life.
The Fighting scene, the plot, the characters, and mostly the message of the story.
Some of the scene is hanging to me and I want them elaborate some of the part of the
story. I want to have a part 2 of this story.
Hard to believe, because Beowulf fighting to the monster using his bare hands.
Yes, because I also watch and read this kind of genre so that I can easily predict some
parts of the story of what will happen next.

7. The ending was?
Beowulf gets bite from the dragon so that after Beowulf kills the dragon, Beowulf died
suddenly after the fight because of the venom from the dragon.
