Through Its Port State Control

The Philippine Coast Guard is responsible for port state control, permitting and overseeing marine salvage operations, performing maritime search and rescue, and enforcing maritime laws around safety, security and environmental protection. With four years of experience, the Coast Guard's patrols and surveillance can help ensure safe navigation, prevent unlawful acts, and promote freedom of navigation. The Coast Guard maintains aids to navigation, provides emergency assistance to mariners and disaster victims, and through experience members can gain knowledge and expertise in their field.

Through its Port State Control, the Philippine Coast Guard is the country's last line of defense

against unsafe foreign vessels entering the country. In contrast, the PCG is in charge of providing
permits and overseeing all marine salvage operations. In addition to performing maritime search
and rescue, the Philippine Coast Guard is also in charge of maritime law enforcement, maritime
safety, marine environmental preservation, and maritime security. The four-year experience, I
believe, may aid or contribute to the PCG's measures to keep the seas in good order by
conducting frequent patrols and surveillance to ensure the safety of navigation ships, preventing
unlawful acts, and promoting freedom of navigation. The person's nature, perspective, and
abilities, particularly their physical appearance as a coast guard, may be improved by means of
the experience. When it comes to the Coast Guard, I expect it to be a career or a field that
focuses on accomplishing its work on the water. From the training to understanding everything
there is to know about marines, I expect this career to be challenging. Knowing that the Coast
Guard is in charge of maintaining lighthouses, buoys, and other navigational aids, as well as
providing emergency assistance to commercial mariners and victims of natural disasters like
floods and storms. 4 years experience can change a person's nature, perspective and their
physical capabilities. On the aforementioned year, many can change since experience is one of
the source of knowledge in every mankind. I expect them to be more precise and expert on their
chosen field.
