1.1 REFERENCE 1.1.1 Conform to General Requirements for Electrical Services of Division 16, (IF Distribution).
1.2 DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
1.2.1 The contractor shall supply, install test and commission a video intercom system as follows: Video intercom control panel which includes the unit and the push button panel installed at the main entrance. 1.2.2 Monitor unit with built-in house phone in location as shown on the drawing
1.3 VIDEO INTERCOM SYSTEM INTEGRATION WITH BUILDING ACCESS
1.3.1 Accesses control system for the ground floor main entrance lobby and basement area entrances shall be through the video intercom system. Accesses control system for the basements floor main entrance lobby area through the video intercom system. 1.3.2 Passwords/Access cards for the video intercom panel to control the entrance doors ground and basement areas. 1.3.3 Push button for the lobby area, Magnetic lock. 1.3.4 Buzzer with timer for the ground floor and basement floors main entrance. 1.3.5 Main video intercom panel locations shall be located outside the lift lobby area and at the main entrance W/P IP54 protection. 1.3.6 Interface between the main entrance door accesses system with the video intercom system. 1.3.7 Should have the feature of face recognition and temporary access to guests through mobile app/ QR code.
1.4 VIDEO INTERCOM CONTROL PANEL
1.4.1 The panel shall be of anodized aluminum suitable for flush mounting with color and shall be to Architect's approval. 1.4.2 The panel shall include push-button with programmable name tags, a lamp for camera coverage, a two- line digital display of dial buttons, an antimasking device, and an antitheft lock. 1.4.3 Outdoor intercom panel to be installed in a fixed kiosk (customized) subjected to ID approval.
1.5 INDOOR UNIT
1.5.1 The unit shall be recessed mounted. 1.5.2 The unit shall be fully equipped to operate as a two-way video intercom system with 2 call tones. 1.5.3 The color and shape of the unit shall be to the architect's approval. 1.5.4 IP video intercom system with 7-inch screen size. 1.5.5 Ellington logo and push notifications features shall be provided on the main screen.
1.6 ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
1.6.1 Code Lock type access control system for main entry door. The door can be opened by entering a four- digit code. After the set opening time the door will be locked automatically. The door will open when the code is entered. The system will lock itself if the wrong code is entered 5 times wrong. Even by entering the correct code the door will not open for security reasons. The system can be made functional again by entering the correct code twice. The built in relay can drive either a door release
