INTRODUCTION
A good affirmation is nothing more than reminding yourself that you are capable
and deserving of acquiring the things in life that make you happy.
The tricky part (that isn’t even tricky!) is making sure that you create affirmations
that relate directly to your life and values.
That is why we created this workbook. While anyone can write an affirmation,
there should be some care and understanding if your goal is to write effective and
powerful versions.
In this workbook, you will examine different areas of your life, and then create
unique affirmations that address your needs.
Each section of this eBook will focus on a different area of your life. If you feel like
you are absolutely nailing any one area, skip it and move on to the next.
What else are you waiting for? A new and happier you is waiting just around the
corner.
Let’s go.
RULES TO REMEMBER
If you want to write effective affirmations, there are certain rules you should
follow.
Keep It Personal
Start your affirmations with either “I am” or “My”.
Stay Positive
Focus on the things you do want, not the things you want to avoid.
Don’t try and get to every affirmation though. Focus on 3-5 of the most powerful
(this is up to you to decide where you need the most help) and try to fit them into
your routine.
You can always switch up your affirmations if you want to direct your energy to
another part of your life.
Piggyback Off a Current Routine – You probably already have routines (even if
you didn’t realize). For example, if you brush your teeth each morning, spend a
few minutes iun the mirror to say some affirmations.
Set Reminders – We almost all have a supercomputer in our pocket, so why not
use it. Set reminders or alarms that will remind you it is time for affirmations.
Schedule It – If you are the type of person who lives and dies by your schedule,
make sure to jot down some affirmation time as well.
Measure Results – If you notice your life changing for the better, you will be more
likely to keep using affirmations. If you don’t notice a change, maybe you need to
go back to the drawing board and write different affirmations.
Don’t Beat Yourself Up – Affirmations are all about lifting yourself up so don’t get
angry if you miss a day. It’s just a bump in the road. Get back to your affirmations
as soon as you can.
CONCLUSION
Affirmations might be something that you remember laughing at in old Saturday
Night Live skits, but they are powerful weapons when wielded correctly.
If you follow the tips in this workbook, and the main guide, you will be well on
your way to wielding them properly.
If you feel silly at first, don’t worry. With time and practice affirmations will make
you feel more unstoppable than silly.
We hope you got a lot out of our Daily Affirmations guide, and hope they help you
as much as they have helped us.
