This lesson plan aims to teach students to differentiate between reliable and unreliable health information, products, and services. The lesson will begin with an icebreaker activity where students identify pictures related to reliable and unreliable health sources. Students will then sort pictures of health information, products, and services into categories of reliable and unreliable. Through group discussions, students will discuss the benefits of reliable sources and the effects of unreliable sources. To conclude, students will complete a Venn diagram comparing reliable and unreliable sources and an evaluation activity identifying sources as reliable or unreliable.
