1. INTRODUCTION

In this activity, different activities will be developed in order to know the competences and
contents to develop the course the Valuation And Negotiation of Technology cours, also,
recognize intellectual property protection as a key tool to develop technologic.

1. What is Parquesoft in your own words?


Parquesoft is an entity composed and managed by entrepreneurs, which supports the
creation and consolidation of projects and companies of technology bases. They are a
network of 14 parks at the national leve, in which 1,400 young programmers work in 300
software development micro-companies.
Parquesoft allows entrepreneurs, companies and government organizations to get together to
design and produce software.
A characteristic of Parquesoft is that its businesses are focused on making lower-priced
software. "There is no need for expensive sales processes, as it is very specialized and there
are very few competitors"

2. What do you find interesting about Manglar (One of the companies in Parquesoft)?

Manglar is a research laboratory in software development. It is one of the best known


companies of Parquesoft. I find it interesting that it is a group of four employees, two of
them are in Russia. They invented and patented software that corrects the distortion in a
projected image that arises when a projector is incorrectly positioned. It is a unique
technology that does not exist anywhere on the market.

3. How relevant is Parquesoft to promote innovation in Colombian companies?

Parquesoft is very important since it promotes innovation in Colombia, supports youth,


contributes to the training of entrepreneurs and supports the country's regions. Also, It
contributes to optimize public investment and support development plans. Parquesoft works
on innovative projects that are an important source of business for the community. The
enterprises can present their bids, projects and calls through ParqueSoft, thus supplying their
need for human talent and financial capacity, also receiving support and advice in the
formulation and management of said opportunities. It is important to highlight that
ParqueSoft promotes the development of computer solutions in Latin America.
4. How important is technology innovation for the socio-economic development of
Colombia?

Technological innovation is very important since it is a driving force for the socioeconomic
environment of every organism. It is capable of adopting an innovative attitude and a
commitment to research and development of technological innovations combining its
financial, commercial and administrative, with the perspective of continuous improvement
in its processes, procedures, products or services in order to satisfy the demands of the
scarce existing resources, achieve a high degree of competitiveness and offer a better quality
of life to people.
7. CONCLUSIONS

 It was possible to review all the environments and download and analyze the course
program.
 It was possible to know the competencies and contents to be developed in the course
