GENERAL INSTRUCTION: APPLICABLE TO ALL THE EVENTS

● Entry is strictly prohibited without a valid Identity Card.

● On the spot entries are allowed.

● Teams/Individuals can participate in one or more events if there is no clash of
timings.
● The organizing committee will decide the order of performance.
● The Judges’ decision will be final.
● Decisions regarding disqualification can be made at the Judges discretion.
● Non-compliance with the rules may lead to disqualification.
● Harm and disrespect of any sort to any religion, caste, gender or nationality should
not be portrayed, as it may lead to disqualification.
● No offensive and objectionable content, including language, plots, and clothes,
will be entertained, failing to which will lead to disqualification.
● No Queries/Objections will be entertained after the announcement of the result.
● After the registration process is done the participant will be placed in the
respective WhatsApp group.

The name ‘M E R A K I’ translates into – ‘ESSENCE OF YOURSELF’,
and now it is time for us to feel that essence, an essence of Knowledge ,
essence of creativity, think out of the box , explore and channel the area
of your interest.
 GO PRISM
The competition is designed to give students real-world
experience to pitch their ideas for one of two categories:
seed and early-stage. Judges will evaluate the seed category
based on the market opportunity and concept validation of
the business idea.

GUIDELINES
1. Participants will start displaying their models on
Saturday, 21st January 2023

2. Team of 4 can be formed either by students or by the

organizing team. These teams may be from different
schools as well

3. Single table will be provided to each team to display their

models

4. All the required stationaries should be brought by the

participants themselves, as required.

5. Reporting time for Final Event will be 10:00 AM for the

Event.

6. Spot entry is allowed

7. Science participants will bring their models while the

commerce participants will bring their start up idea in
presentations (ppt)

8. Winners will be declared on the basis of their level of

Innovation and presentation skills
 INSPIROBIC (Case Study Competition)

A case competition is an academic competition in which

students come together to solve a case that is present a

GUIDELINES

1. Participants will assemble in the room number that will

be allotted to them on Saturday, 21st of January 2023

2. Team of 4 can be formed either by students or by the

organizing team. These teams may be from different
schools

3. Reporting time for Final Event will be 10.00 AM.

4. You will be provided with a general case on spot .

Participants will be given 15 minutes to research about
the case . Participants are supposed to present the case
orally based on your understanding and analysis of the
case.

5. Spot entry is allowed

6. Winners will be declared on the basis of their

conceptual, analytical and presentation skills.
 ADVERTIFY – a AD MAD show
AD MAD is an 'Advertising Campaign
Competition' for Business students to showcase
their creative business skills in marketing
products and services

GUIDELINES

from each institution

the competition for the participant to prepare
themselves.

 PENSWORTHY (Creative Writing)

The English Creative Writing Competition enables

students to express themselves in a purely creative
format, while providing teachers the opportunity to
employ new lesson plans and practice their English as
judges.

1. Topic will be given on spot

2. Participants will assemble in the room allotted to

them on Saturday, 21st of January 2023

3. This is an Individual event.

4. Reporting time for Final Event will be 10:00 AM for

the Event.

 GOOD DAY TO QUIZARD
Quiz, a contest in which participants test what they know by
answering questions on one or more topics.

GUIDELINES

1. Topic - Current Affairs, Awards & Invention, General

Knowledge

2. Participants will assemble in the room allotted to them

on Saturday, 21st of January 2023

3. Team of 3 to be formed either by students or organizing

team. These teams may be from different schools.

4. Reporting time for Final Event will be 10:00 AM

5. Winners will be declared on the basis of their conceptual

knowledge (and most correct answers)
 SCENE DREAMS
A reel making competition. Reel is a way for people
to connect with other people and organizations in
their life, to be entertained and informed. Reels are a
modern form of mass communication, anyone can be
popular for 15 seconds on Instagram.

GUIDELINES

1. Theme – School Days or Tourist Places of Jbp

2. Film duration to be 3 to 5 minutes only

3. Music and Sound could be used, with due credits

4. The reels should be made and submitted to the

concerned in-charge latest by 20th of January 08:00
PM

5. Participants will assemble in the room allotted to

them on Saturday, 21st January 2023

8. Judging criteria – clarity, type of edits, creativity,

choice of music and the reel with the most views
 IT’S DEBATABLE (Debate Competition)
A debate is an organised event where the participants
present their arguments or discuss a topic from two
different perspectives. The main objective of participating
in a debate is to convince others about one’s viewpoint.

GUIDELINES

1. Participants will assemble in the room allotted to them

on Saturday,21st January 2023

2. It is an Individual event

3. Reporting time for Final Event will be 10:00 AM for the

Event.

4. Spot entry is allowed

5. Topic will be given a day before for you to prepare

yourself .

6. Participants can be from either side i.e FOR THE

MOTION & AGAINST THE MOTION

7. Winners will be declared on the basis of impactful

stating of facts.
 SAMVAD: MOCK PRESS CONFERENCE
Mock Press is an event, where each participant will be
given a random personality from any domain prior to the
scheduled date of the competition

GUIDELINES

1. Spot entry is allowed

2. Reporting time for Final Event will be 10:00 AM for the

Event.

3. Participants will have to enact like a journalist.

4. A panel will be there and the participants has to ask

questions to the panel for them to answer.

5. The reasoning of the participants will be evaluated

6. Topic of press conference will be initiated by the panel,

on the spot
 FOOD SWINGS

Cooking competition as means to taste the future of cooking. A cooking

competition in which the contestants each prepare dishes for judging
either by a group of judges

● Cake decoration

GUIDELINES FOR FIRELESS COOKING:

1. Participants should not bring any pre-cooked items. All chopping and
grating of food items to be done on the spot.

2. Participants should not use any electrical appliances

3. All the required material will have to be brought by the participants

along with crockery and all kind of cutlery.

4. Dishes should be purely vegetarian, healthy and Hygienic.

5. Participants may wear the chef’s cap, an apron and make use of gloves
so as to maintain Utmost hygiene
6. The evaluation will be based on the taste of the dish, Nutritional
level/value, cleanliness and Presentation, Unique name of the dish.
 SALES PUSH

Sale push is all about the competition in which participants have

to sell their products (any product of your choice)and those who
have the highest revenue at the end will win this competition.

Note :- Only non-food items are to be sold.

GUIDELINES

1. Theme – Nature (and not wildlife)

2. It is an individual event

3. The images should be your original composition,

should not be downloaded from anywhere and
should be Geo-Tagged

4. The photos should be Geo-Tagged

5. Participants have to submit/mail 5 photo entries to the

Concerned email ID : [email protected] latest by
20th Jan 2023 8 PM. The subject name should be your
Name and activity name.

6. If you fail to submit it by the said time, you will be

Disqualified.

7. Participants have to report in the college computer lab

(second floor) on Saturday, 21st of January 2023 by 10.00
AM

8. Decision will be based on the originality, creativity,

Sharpness of images and clarity of the photographs.
 COLOR RUSH
Painting competition - Painting Competition is a unique drawing,
painting and art competition designed to encourage creative
expression

GUIDELINES

1. Participants will assemble in the room allotted to them on

Saturday, 21st of January 2023

2. This is an individual event.

3. Participants should bring all stationeries or any other material,

shoes, T-shirt, canvas, paper etc. required for the competition,
on their own.

4. Reporting time for Final Event will be 10:00 AM.

5. Spot entry is allowed

 FROM THE ATTIC

From the attic competition is based on cosplay

[Bollywood day] where the participant impersonates
their favorite Bollywood icons.

GUIDELINES

1. The participant will dress up like his/her Bollywood

icon and will enact like them.

2. Participant must deliver the iconic line with clear

expression.

3. Any kind of vulgarity or obscene acts would stand as

disqualified.

4. Participants must maintain the decorum of the

institution
