MAA SL Teaching Order

The document provides a suggested teaching order for topics in IB Math AA SL over two years. It lists the 5 main topics covered: Number and Algebra, Functions, Geometry and Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability, and Calculus. For year 1, it suggests covering 60% of the syllabus including topics 1-3. For year 2 it suggests covering the remaining 40% including the remainder of topic 5 on Calculus and all of topic 4 on Statistics and Probability. An alternative scenario is also mentioned where topics 4 and 5 are swapped between the two years.
