 Appreciate the use of multimedia today through using multimedia in giving information.
 Display the value of patience when searching for appropriate multimedia in giving information.

Direction: Observe the picture and answer the following guide questions.

To start off, let’s determine the different multimedia sources.

What’s multimedia?
Multimedia is the use of a computer to present and combine text, graphics, audio, and video with links and tools that let the user
navigate, interact, create, and communicate.
What are the different multimedia resources?
Television- One of the most common multimedia resources is the television. It is commonly used in every household. A television
has different tv programs or tv shows.
E-mail- In the modern world, people use electronic mails when they compose letters, attach files, send pictures and many more.
Commonly, these are used through Gmail and Yahoo mail as service providers.
Social Media - This is a type of multimedia wherein people could post pictures, information, videos, etc. It could also be used for
messaging through chat. Some social media examples are Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Videos - In this digital era, this multimedia shows multiple frames of images with sound. It’s an audio-visual type of multimedia.
Films- Films are movies with different genres to choose from.
Multimedia Messages- It’s a message service provider that enables you to transmit icons, audios, videos.
Power point Presentation - This is a medium that you could input text and add images, videos and sound.
These enumerated multimedia resources are helpful to us especially in this modern and technological era that we are in. Information
is easily disseminated and accessed because of this. At this point in time, it is best to be able to learn to use them, but that however,
we must always remember to be cautious and responsible in using them.

ACTIVITY
 Group students into 4 and have them work on one of these multimedia.
 Let them present their work in front of the class explaining their work.

F. DEVELOPING MASTERY (LEADS TO FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT)

ACTIVITY:

Great! You're done with the lecture part. Let's apply what you've learned.

Directions: 1. Copy a PowerPoint template like the one showed in the following page.

2. Use the template to create an instructional presentation on how to


prepare a certain favorite food or drink. Put this in 2-3 “slides”. 3. Cut out
photos available at home (if photos are unavailable, draw the icon) and
paste them on the template.

4. Write accompanying instructions for the process shown.

5. Be creative and use art materials available at home.

6. For the title, write your favorite drink or food.

7. You may use your notebook or short bond papers for this.
G. FINDING PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS OF CONCEPTS AND SKILLS IN DAILY LIVING
