Chapter 1 IMRAD SOP

This document provides guidance on writing the statement of the problem section for a research study. It begins by listing reminders for writing the SOP, such as making it coherent and cascading in nature. It then provides a format for the SOP, including writing the general problem statement first in paragraph form, followed by specific problems written in numbered form with logical sequencing. The document provides 7 sample SOPs of varying types (descriptive, quasi-experimental, quantitative-qualitative) as examples of how to structure and write the SOP section.
