Application
Now that you have a clear knowledge of the lesson find out how you can apply the basic concepts of
technology for teaching and learning in real-life scenarios. Read the following teaching-learning scenarios and analyze
them using the concepts you have learned. Write your answers in the box below.

Question:
How do you think are the concepts of technology for teaching and learning applied on the
teaching-learning scenarios above? How do you think technology helped them achieve their
goals? How do you think technology have helped you achieve your goals just like the
teaching-learning scenario above?

The concepts of technology for teaching and learning is evident on the scenario as both the
students and the teachers uses technological devices such as computers and the internet in
accomplishing the activity they ought to do. Through the aid of their mobile phones and the internet, the
students were able to acquire the information they need to answer their assignments whereas the teacher
was able to monitor her students’ assignments and outputs with the aid of technology as well. Technology
was utilized to facilitate learning, as a resource of information (instructional media). The teacher and the
students integrated technology in accomplishing their teaching and learning tasks. As a student, I can
testify that technology plays a great part in the education system nowadays. Almost every learning task
needs the aid of technology, most especially in the context of the new mode of learning. Looking up for
articles and information to be used in accomplishing my school activities, researching, attending classes
and looking for supplemental readings for better learning experience and communicating with my
classmates and teachers are just some of the activities that we have to do almost every day as a student
and in all of those activities, the use of technology is inarguably present. Same thing goes for the teachers
as technology is what they use in producing learning materials, conducting their classes and delivery of
their lessons, monitoring their student performance and assessing them. To sum up, the concept of
technology in teaching and learning is significant both to the teachers and the students thus we should
make the most out of it and be responsible enough in using it to our advantage as it is of great use for us
people.
